    Whenever I see a Lion, I always think about the 5 brothers of Mapogos. I mean they rule their land for 6 years and that is the greatest and yet beautiful at the same time. It was a great story behind it too.

    So sad about the baby elephants but that's life in the wild, have heard that when an animal is hunted nature/adrenalin kicks in and puts the animal in shock hence they cant feel anything, no one will ever know for sure but I like to think that is what happens. Nature has a way of keeping herds, prides etc healthy for the species to survive

      Same with humans I've been in a few fights and what would normaly make you tear up and yell in pain feels like someone taped you. Yea it hurts later but you feel basicly nothing then. Same same for when going in shock just much more extreme you body basicly shuts down and your paralyzed almost in a coma state and you feel almost
      nothing

    • @aeternadeid.7430
      @aeternadeid.7430 4 года назад

      The adrenaline shock only works for a couple minutes. It is the intense pain that sends prey into coma. Or the splitting, brain damaging pain of drowning when their trachea are being crushed. Trust me, if a lion's killing you, it's painful.

      Olivia Morgan it doesn't really matter how they kill there prey as long as they kill it and eat it. animals might eventually change hunting styles. but then again humans are no experts so who are we to judge what hunting styles they use often, like maybe they find other ways. eh i don't know anymore.

Imagine XL trucks with two blade attached running at full speed across plains kicking up insane amount of dust/dirt. It's little wonder that the baby elephant got crippled in that frenzy.

    Narrator: “ We cant judge lions by our rules”.
    Me: think about it. The elephants neck is too thick for penetration from the lions bite to suffocate and kill; since going for the elephants trunk in attempt to block off airways is useless for the lions to do, they have no other choice but to tear into it while it’s still alive.

      Mike Richardson What u just said is complete bull; bbc did a documentary on a pride of lions that hunted elephants, if I remember correctly, they downed a full grown elephant and then suffocated it before eating so it would have been entirely possible for the lions to kill it before eating. Also; the poor elephants position was probably given away by the camera crew. I think the camera crew just lack empathy due to their greed.
