No matter where you reach in life, but staying connected with our roots is something that is really precious. Village is a sacred space where it's all about simple pleasures. One finds not only solace but also a profound sense of belonging, an intrinsic connection to the roots!
Bamna is situated near the banks of Hatmati dam and is the birthplace of the renowned Gujarati poet - Shri Umashankar Joshi. The village is also an identity of the highly respected - Dr C.D. Bhatt, who has selflessly served many people of the village and has gained immense respect and love among the community.
Shot this video during Covid. Finally after some serious procrastination, put the footages to the edit table and made this video in an attempt to showcase the things that have stayed with me, during my time spent in my village.
