Very good, I like that. If only. I love a white winters cape. Very rare where we are though.
Hi Shane you threw me for a loop I thought you were in my backyard. Finland looks amazing and those knives and kuksa are just gorgeous. Glad you were able to get away bro!

Amazing vid as usual Shane, a real inspiration.
Thanks my friend. I can’t wait to get out again soon.
Wow! This was something to see you here in Finland. There would be so much to say but to avoid that my comment will not be too long and boring - only say that you had huge luch to see those nothern lights. My age is 67 for the moment and never seen that big nothern lights you did. Of course I'm living in southern Finland, but alltough. Lucky you. Thank you that you purchased those puukkos and that kuksa - allmost our national gems.
Thank you mauritz, appreciate your comments, yes Finland sure is beautiful
So glad to see you back in the channel !!! I thought we lost you.
Thanks Alan. No, still here, although there’s some weird stuff going on with my channel at the moment. My subs have been hovering up and down in the 6120 s now for over two months, very strange, not sure what youtube are up to. Anyway, appreciate your support Alan. Going to be featuring more bushcraft skills vids shortly all being well. So should be more content. Thanks again Alan.
Thanks Love the vid.
Thank you richard
loving those puukko's.
i have one made by 'thetopicala', and it really is special.
you got to see 'the lights' too!
nice one.
cheers!
Thanks bud for your comment, yeh the lights were great to see, a profound experience
That was a real treat Shane. It went quick. I hadn't heard from you so thought I'd check out what you've been doing. Glad I did. What a wondrous pristine place and sound, which is something I noticed. Nice bit of steak cooked by some mega fuel. Well, cracking hammock set up in the airport. You got style on this one. Mark
Thanks Mark. Lapland truly is wondrous. Hope you’re well Mark
It's pretty and all but not a patch on St Catherines Lighthouse lol. Excellent Shane it looked great
Thanks nobby as always bud. Sure is beautiful there, the island has its own beauty as well of course.
Love down around the lighthouse
Yep 👍🏻 I guessed at Finland 🇫🇮 but then as the video got to just before you said it. I thought oh bugger, got it wrong.
great video you should teach bushcraft watched all your vids so much knowledge thank you.
Thank you very much George. I very much appreciate your support of channel. Thank you for your comment as well. Take care my friend.
Beautiful video. Subscribed!
Thanks very much, welcome aboard.
Great video Shane. It's a pity you didn't do a overnight that would have been awesome. Glad you got your items through customs. I would have been a bit nervous.
Alan
Thanks AC. I’ve never had a problem, providing I put stuff in hold luggage. I’ve had stuff confiscated when in my cabin bag, but not luggage.
Those steaks looks wonderful!
They were, loving the bitty big Q as well. Been using it a lot
@@IsleofWightBushcraft We are so glade you like our product! Thanks.
What a lovely setting Shane you can’t beat that in the wilderness I could smell that 🥩 coming through my screen, atvb Shane for 2020,
Thanks John. They really did taste fab, especially in that cold. Only got back a few days ago. It is beautiful there. And to see the northern lights was a real bonus.
How you say, "its a good day"! Very nice location what you've choose for spending your hollidays. Fantastic part of scandinavia for a journey. And beautyfull items you bought. I hope you have had some great and interessting days. Take careand regardings from the Eifel. Alex
Danke Alex. I appreciate your comment. Yes, lovely knives and kuksa
beautiful
Thank you phyllis
I see it was just a small walkabout just to hang your hammock and tarp and have some food and then head back
That section that you are in is really beautiful
Just hope you make it back to the hotel
And look at that you got video of the northern lights
Yeh, could carry every bit of kit I would have needed for an overnighter on the plane
Awesome that you are getting chance to put a hammock and tarp up and have a stake in the Arctic
What underquilt are you going to use or is this just a small day hike
Thought it was Finland, been there a couple of times once in the summer and once in the winter. Beautiful country. Great video bud. Atb Stuart also from the IoW.
Thanks Stuart, you’ve been there as well eh, yes I agree it’s is really a beautiful place, especially for outdoors people.
Hi did you get any problems is taking your nose out the and coming back into
I bought my wife a similar knife, except it has a fire steel in place of the smaller knife. The sheaf is reindeer hide too with belt dangler in reindeer so supple But strong 💪🏻
Loved this one Shane. A epic trip.
Thanks for taking us along. Great kuksa too.
Loved the northern lights.
Thank you Michael, it’s a great place
Great video as per usual I have a question for you where did you get your REGATTA bag from.
Thanks lee. I got it in an independent camping shop. They only had a few left, so grabbed one quick. It’s done me well so far.
You are a good author, a good cameraman. Why not make a video? Go on. Like 92
Thanks Sam, not sure what you mean
I didn't think it snowed that much where you were at
It doesnt
Hi young-one, you are lucky still got your knife, the Airport took my camping tools from me
I put them in hold luggage rather than cabin. I’ve lost stuff like that before. Thanks for your comments 5 stroke.
@@IsleofWightBushcraft l was in California at the time coming here Heathrow to Glasgow, Heathrow took my gear
What! They took it from your hold luggage, or cabin bag
@@IsleofWightBushcraft from my own bags l was carry
5 stroke wander scotland ah that’s why. They won’t let you in the cabin with knives etc. We’ve put our stuff in a backpack then wrapped pack in cling film so that buckets and straps don’t get broken by baggage handlers, then check it in as hold luggage. No problem
Did you have any problems taking your knife and saw out the the UK and did you have any coming back with your knife and did you declar them as I am thinking of going but I could go with ok my bushcraft tools
I’ve never had a problem Ashley, provided I put knives saws etc, in luggage which goes into hold and cannot be accessed during flight. It’s only when I’ve accidently put stuff in my cabin bag, day rucksack, that I’ve had problems. Hope this helps
Sweden, well close enough
Ooooh, close. Thanks for your comment john
Haha! I was right 👍
Kiitos 😊
Eee well done
@@IsleofWightBushcraft Nice puukko's
