Thank you for making it clear cut and without the fluff! I was able to digest the content so easily- this video definitely helped me make a choice in which park to visit!
We will be visiting California for the first time and we are really excited, for starters we had our doubts about what park should we do first or two days in a row but this really help us
David here from Sebring Florida and I have been a Disneyland fan and collector for over fifty years and Disneyland should be the number 1 choice for everyone! lol 😂 It is the park that Walt Disney himself built 😊The park is going on 70 years old and Mr Disney had no idea how many people would come. Just get there for rope drop. Plan on spending at least 2 days there, see the park one day, take a nap mid afternoon come back in the evening go on rides when the parade is going on, should be very short waits, stay until closing. Next day see parades, live entertainment. If you have a extra day go to DCA. Be sure to stay at one of the hotels on Harbor Boulevard . Across the street from Disneyland Hotels on both sides of the street are much less than Disney Hotels, Have a magical trip! 😎
Thank you so much. We are heading there in August and I really wasn’t sure which one to go too. Already went to Magic Kingdom so this helped me to decide.
We just went to both over spring break. I'd go to Galaxy's Edge and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway in Disneyland and then spend the entire rest of the time in California Adventure. CDA is awesome! And Genie Plus was totally worth it!
@@jairrodriguez7668 it allows you to skip lines at select rides once per day. There is a cost to it but it's worth it. There are some rules to how it works so do your research up front to maximize your use of it.
Very helpful! I have to make a decision as I'll be only doing one day/one park and your breakdown reinforced my initial preference. Thanks for sharing!
Just realized that last time my family and I went we did park hopping and I never realized until now lmao. Well guess we’re doing the same thing this year too!
I will be visiting in mid December and will spend most of my time at Disneyland. I am not a fan of DCA but will visit at least one day for the holiday food and Carsland.
Go to both, but if you can only go to one park it has to be Disneyland, California Adventure is a small park they only have 3 major rides Incredibles Roller Coaster( best ride in the park), Cars and the Guardians of the Galaxy ride and that's about it, oh and the Toy Story ride not a major ride but pretty fun
As someone who grew up on DisneyWorld kinda hardcore, I actually know NOTHING about Disney in California. This video makes it look like Disney actually cares about DL. WDW is so outdated and tired.
ive been to both, magic kingdom and animal kingdom only, and all 2 parks, california adventure and dl. Its also shorter so you don’t gotta suffer a bunch of walking with a bunch of heat. Still big though. Now, in terms of rides, animal kingdom, but in scenery, gotta go with california adventure, cars land is amazing, grizzly peak, paradise pier in its prime, and more. In terms of better park for dl vs magic kingdom, magic kingdom has similar rides, with dl having a bunch of better rides.
SUMMARY: For thrill seekers, _Disney California Adventure_ is better with a more thrill oriented line of attractions than Disneyland. (e.g. Incredicoaster, Grizzly River Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission: BREAKOUT! ) Food is typically better at DCA, and crowds are smaller. Looking for a casual experience? *Disneyland is better.* A more family-based park with more rides, with the small number of thrill rides being much more tame than its neighboring park. (e.g. Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ) It is much richer in history than California Adventure.

Great video. Lots of info and so concise. Thanks!
How you leave out The Haunted Mansion though 😭 it’s a staple ride at Disneyland lol
Hi thank so much ❤
Thanks for the video.
I will be visiting in mid December and will spend most of my time at Disneyland. I am not a fan of DCA but will visit at least one day for the holiday food and Carsland.
Wait. What about Haunted Mansion and the Buzz Lightyear ride?

This was a perfect summary. Thank you.
