Thank you for making this video, very timely!! :) I too don't have a microwave, actually when I was in college studying chemistry, we had to work on a project about the safety of microwave use for meal prep and warming. We found that the microwaves, damage the food at molecular level which in turn means we are not getting the nutrients we need AND rather the opposite, since the damage often turned the original into something that is unhealthy for our bodies. Needless to say, "they" say it is not dangerous, but actually as it has become a very common appliance at home that people use everyday... IT IS dangerous indeed. It is like, for instance palm oil. I think being informed is such a blessing and for people to have the freedom to make choices, informed choices :) I appreciate all you share as I always learn something new and THAT is exciting!! :D I would like to ask if it would be possible to have a video on what are the seasonal fresh produce to consume, as these would be at the highest nutritional level and nowadays it is not that easy to know what is in season when we get so much produce from around the globe all year round, which doesn't necessarily mean they are originally packed with all the goodness the produce has when let ripe on the plant! Thank you once again and have a fabulous week ahead!!
I’ve learned so much from you but I usually cook with cast iron 90% of the time and the other 10% is ceramic for eggs. Can’t go wrong with cast iron passed from older generations even though they’re a pain to clean lol.
Thank you for you for sharing. A few products I use are under review. Our home is transitioning to healthier products as we're learning. You're one of a kind. Positive love to you, Rose & Dessi!
Those who are on a tight budget save glass jars that previously held pickles or any other food to use for leftovers, small batch homemade sauerkraut, or as a space saver when the gallon of milk is running low. Just remember to tape a label of contents and the date.
Yep, exactly what I did. I even store water on them after they're cleaned just in case a water shortage (which is typical here in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 as same as blackouts). Anywho, right now I have a bunch of jalapeños in an old olive jar, some cherry tomatoes in an old white sparragus jar and used to make some really neat Inmune system mix with Lemmon juice, garlic, red onions, ginger and honey and daily would take about a tablespoon and it was the bomb!
What I love about your videos is that you don’t come off as high and mighty you come off very humble and like you want to educate a friend…. I feel like a lot of other people in this space have turned me off to this because it’s like they’re so beyond everything that they can’t even get down on our level to explain these basic things. I don’t know if it’s your tone of voice or your demeanor or what but you come off as so relatable and kind and it makes me wanna watch all of your videos I’ve already learned so much. I think that you also are fine presenting the lesser of two evils sometimes and give us information to help us to weigh our options rather than just telling us what to do. Love this video, Bobby! Would love to see videos on nontoxic beauty products, skin care, sunscreens, updated videos on vitamins & cold medicine(for adults & kids). Thank you for all of your videos, they are very informative! Love to you, Dessi and Rose Honey!
Bobby you are so right and I agree non toxic. I learned so much from you. also I want to learn about Makeup and ones that are cruelty free and especially non toxic.

Awesome video Bobby!! I ordered the probiotic, the dish soap, scrub daddy's and got on your list for your kitchen set!!! Definitely informative video and easy links to check this stuff out!
You are so amazing! I tell the world about you! Thank you for all of your long exhausting hours and for all the research you do, it’s beyond beneficial and informative! Thank you for giving me a healthy life 💚
Didn't cook much in the past so used ceramic nonstick fry pans, but alas they got scratched up a year ago so been using lightweight cast iron skillets I found at TJMaxx/Homegoods last summer & loving them! Will never go back to nonstick, regular or ceramic. They're similar to cast iron but a bit thinner & lighter. They're on sale right now at Aldi if anyone is interested.
Very informative video; thank you! I was surprised to hear you don’t have or use a microwave! I don’t either. I refuse to have one in my kitchen. I cook with cast iron, and it doesn’t take much time at all to heat up or cook something on the stove. People think you can’t live without a microwave…yes, you can, and you’re the better for it!
Good video! The plastic Tupperware (like plastic cups) is okay as long as you don't heat them up in the microwave. Great point regarding the baking trays. I completely overlooked that.
Perfect information! I have a under the sink reverse osmosis water system which I love … I might be purchasing that convertible water pitcher for my grown kids! I can’t wait to learn more about your ceramic pan! Out here in Sonoma CA we have a place called “ Refill Madness” and we refill all our containers/bottles with non-toxic products. ❤️ I have been following you for years and SO happy with all your suggestions! Boo on microwaves. I need to learn more about nontoxic makeup. Thanks 😊
So Bobby What about using a silicone mat or parchment paper on your aluminum pans? I thought ours were steel but researched them again and found out they are actually aluminum but I do have a silicone mat we can use on it when cooking. we already do everything else in the video. When I was having trouble conceiving our first baby I changed a lot about our home. we now are expecting baby #4 🙂
My aluminum baking pans conduct the heat very evenly, so I have no desire to stop using them. Parchment paper or silicone mat, both protect the food from the bare aluminum.
So at home we have these very very thick glass ones that basically work exactly the same as the ceramic ones but you don't have to worry about scratches wearing the ceramic off. I have baked in them basically since I had knowledge and they're looking exactly the same (i usually bake around 350 but I bet the can get even higher). Really good stuff.
Yes please make a video on non toxic body products like lotion and face/body wash. Your video on sunscreen was great, hope you can do the same thing for skin and face lotions/products
I would love to see a video about safe non toxic bath and body products. I have a sensitivity to all the chemicals and have trouble finding a shampoo that works and doesn’t make my head burn. Thanks for all you do.
Bend Soap Company and Chagrin Valley both have a ton of great options for bath and body products! Definitely would recommend! My husband and I and both sets of our parents, really like both companies products! Plus my mother has a ton of chemical allergies and she uses many products from both places.
Love the awareness you bring to us. Would like for you to do a review for the best slow cookers (crockpot type) as I use them frequently for roasts, chicken, etc. Living in a very hot climate, a slow cooker is a good option instead of using the oven. Thanks!!
I put a dish over my food if I'm reheating it..a paper towel may have been bleached unless your using a different brand. I like just using dish towels, and handmade napkins out of an old sheet-i don't buy paper products anymore and it's so great! Also you shouldn't use sponges that have been dyed yellow or blue they contain harmful glues and dyes. I use "Kind" sponges and Better life dish soap.
all these nonstick pans crap out after a few months anway. do yourself a favor and get a good carbon steel pan. with enough use and seasoning, it will becomd virtually nonstick
Love love this video Please do a video about chemicals in woman's cosmetic. Skin care products and cosmetics, foundations lipsticks, and sun screen !! Would be much appreciated. List the chemicals to avoid . Thanks so much
Thank you for this video. I'll look into Branch Basics and Thrive's Rosey dishwasher packs. Sadly there are some issues with scrub daddy. It is plastic breaks down and particles do get into or water and fish.
This is great I would love to see more of these. I use clean people dish soap and laundry sheets they have been working great. The dishwasher tablets work really well.
Yes! More info on cosmetics, shampoos, conditioners, etc. I have dry eye syndrome, so anything that could get close to my eyes is irritating. My whole family appreciates all your videos to help us live a cleaner, healthier life!
I absolutely love your videos bobby id really like to see more video's on how you live non toxic, as in room by room. Im super excited for your bakeware golly i want to get my hands on those!
Love the video Bobby! Very informative on ways to make the kitchen as non-toxic as possible. Would you be able to make a video describing the best hand soaps and some not so good popular hand soaps people use? Thanks! :)
Here are options that I use! They make stainless steel cookie sheets and they will last a lifetime! If you want a dish soap that is much cheaper and is certified organic use soap nuts. You can also use them for many other tasks! Please don't buy the commercial scrubbers but buy the knitted scrubbers at craft sales. I have some that are over 3 years old and they are still working great. Mine cost $2 and they still look like new and they normally are made by retirees to make a few extra dollars! If you knit make your own!

Would love to know more about cosmetic facial cleansers anything that deals with the face and laundry detergent thank you so much for all you do you really enlighten us and I hope you always will.😊
Need more people who are just willing to be honest. Not willing to sacrifice our health to save a few pennies. Our health is everything. We try to save buying the cheap stuff now but we will pay 10 times later in medical bills. Our health needs to be a priority and more people should be breaking it down for us! Most people don’t even realize these things! Thank you for you honesty and information! Love your channel!!!
Want to keep seeing these videos for a non-toxic home. Like to see you go room by room. Like Bedroom bedding & linens, and Bathroom cleaner & soaps, etc.
Thanks for this video. Great recommendations. I would also love to see your reviews on floor cleaners, especially regarding exposure on pets and babies, soooo critical. Thanks Bobby.
Love your videos, however you mention not using plastic to store foods. I understand but many of us are prepping for ER - long storage, and using shrink wrap for many of our preps. My grandma and mom taught me to use Bay leaves to avoid bugs in dry food and has worked perfect, I have been dripping a bay leaf in my GF flour, beans and rice the. Shrink wrap or put in glass. Presently we are living aboard our vessel until we return to our Tuscan home. Please advise how to store long term preps. Thanks so much.
I’d love to see more advice on creating a non toxic home! I love all your videos and your family. What do you think of the silpat mats for baking and parchment paper ?
Yes, would love to learn more about having a clean non-toxic home. What are your thoughts on Melaleuca products? They are supposed to be known as clean.
Transition is the key word here. Will upgrade eventually. Really need to access and prioritize your needs realistically. If your 80. The teflon probably will not be what causes your death.
Seed made me break out in hives…it wasn’t the ingredients inside of the capsule, it was the capsule itself. I was pretty bummed as I wanted to it to work. Going through that experience taught me a lot as I had to go through a 80 chemical test patching with an allergist. I found out I’m also allergic to propolis that’s in a ton of household and beauty items. Lesson here is we have to be educated as much as we can about all products that we are surrounded with on a daily basis.
Can’t you just boil tap water? Isn’t that cheaper than buying the ion alkalizer? Or buying that $500 countertop water filter? Not all of us have that money
The reality is that you would need to boil it at sky high heat that no electric or gas powered stove in the world will stand and also there's no ceramic or glass vase or whatever to pour it without it basically melting. That's how hot it should be to get all the bad stuff out. It's literally impossible in normal instances (you know like the guys over at the TV show where they show mass production and heat stuff? Well just like that). But there's still other ways. There's a few carbon filters which are less than $20 which last ALOT because you will still be using tap water not filtering out rain so. The one in Bobby's house as he showdled is reverse osmosis and alkaline with minerals added so that one is for sure expensive and ai guess changing those filters would be too. A friend of mine has something like it andfor him it was $75 per month so around 3,000 USD but it had all of that and I think u have to own the house in, order for them to install those type of things.
Sadly, no. We were boiling our tap water for our babies formula and it still had so much shit in it. So we put in the same thing bobby has for my babies formula and us to drink…, I couldn’t get over how nasty our city water was.
I had gotten the Green Pan set and the non stick only lasted 6 months. I love my cast iron but it’s just not very non-stick. Need to get me a new set of pans and retire my ceramic ones since they are all scratched up. The natural cleaners always leave a sticky build up. Especially, on wood. I’ve tried method, eco’s, Seventh Generation and few brands by Target. Thinking about just trying water, vinegar, baking soda and essential oil.
Non-toxic: furniture, flooring, clothes, air purifiers, air quality, mattress, etc. I use Austin Air purifiers, Redmonds toothpaste, cotton and wool clothes, latex wool and cotton mattresses, cotton sheets, etc.
I have really loved adding baking soda and vinegar for pretty much everything. I could clean tile floors, kitchen counters, bathrooms, bathtubs, even my kitchen sponge looks like new after staying soaked overnight. Also, I've done cakes, toast, homemade tortilla chips all over at the microwave using those type of glass topper ware or Pyrex is anlther good brand but those snapware are better in my perspective because it selas better so it preserves the food longer aaaand those last longer. My Pyrex plastic tops are broken on the sides because when they hold air inside and you're trying to open them is a hassle rather than just pulling by the snap thingies of the snapware till the airtight seal is broken. Also, I bought a free BPA semi circular top for al whenever I use the microwave and have things that might pop well there's gonna be less plastic in my food because it's not only thick layer but it's BPA free (Marshall's).
I sure you can get the chemicals out of you’re body by doing a lot of detoxing and omitting teflon pans the safest options to me is ceramic and cast iron.
This video is gold!! Id love to see more videos on how to have a non-toxic home.
Yesssss! Me too!

Excellent video Bobby!! Please make a series about having a non toxic home.
The problem is ceramic releases lead which is even more toxic.
stainless steel is the best option
Thank you Bobby 🤗 💖
Thank you very much.
Tell us about laundry liquid, how safe is and more, please!🙏
How do you detox pfoas and glyphosate?
Thank youuuuu! I’ve been waiting for a video like this!
I love my Burkey water system!💗💗💗
I use water and vinegar to clean with, and baking soda. So easy. So pure.
Love Scrub Daddy sponges! Shark Tank win!
Hi Bobby! it would be nice to make a ceramic wok with 2 small handles on each side this is what I am looking for.
Thank you for your video
I've used ceramic pans, don't care for them. I love my Blue Diamond pans, so easy for cooking and clean up.
You are awesome! Thank you for all the useful information!
Love to see a video on heavy metals in our household products/vitamins, etc
Thanks Bobby video informative ,now I know which pot to buy.
I sure you can get the chemicals out of you’re body by doing a lot of detoxing and omitting teflon pans the safest options to me is ceramic and cast iron.
Thank you Bobby for this vides and you have beautiul kitchen👍👏❤❤❤
