    I'm Trinidadian and was introduced to Haitian Pate by my friend many years ago...I've visited the bakery and enjoyed them over the years...today, I followed your recipe but used codfish instead and I'm pleased with the results! I will definitely be trying your other recipes!

      julie michel omg yes! My best friend used to make Legume for me every time! Then she brought me a pattie one day omg I was in love but mad that she only brought me one and they were closed 😂😂 I can’t wait to go back to Florida again because I’m going to make sure she cooks the whole menu for my visit 😂❤️

    OMGGGGGGGG! I never knew it was so easy to make. Thank you for sharing. Now I can add as much meat as my hearts content. The Patties I get from my local Haitian Bakery NEVER have enough meat! Thank God for youtube Lol.

    Hi Lamise. I made the Haitian beef patties and Jerk barbecue chicken today for Christmas. Wow my husband and daughter loved the patties as well as the chicken. I love jerk chicken but never thought to add barbecue sauce. It was mouth watering. Thanks for sharing! 😊

    My maman taught me to make boudin and all that stuff but I don't like cooking with lard. So I would go to New York to buy pate, now I have a recipe to use at home. Do you make it with the morui/fish too? Merci anpil, thanks for saving me the drive!

      Here in Florida the Haitian bakeries are stingy with the amount of meat they put in their patties. The meat is so scarce that I think they use a meat flavored spray. From now on, I'll be making my own patties.

    Hi, you only use one fillo dough sheet to make patties. But the sheets are very thin though. I bought some fillo dough but one sheet is see through

      Dorha St cyr it depends on how they make it. My mom’s epice is usually reddish brown (everyone always asks her to make some for them) but I’ve seen ppl that have green epice. I personally like food that has been made with the brown one instead.

      I know you can find in the major supermarkets in the frozen aisle with the frozen bread rolls or frozen fruit in a bag. We have Publix down here and I pass it all the time. They never used to be so available though :)
