What a beautiful hymn to remind us of the love that the lord Jesus Christ has for us when he left the glorious splendour of heaven and came down to this old sinful world to take all our sins upon himself and die on the cross to forgive us our sins and to be ready to go to spend eternity in heaven when we come and put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ as our own and personal saviour
A deep.deep deep hymn....one of the most precious to me.....This song will be played at my funeral without doubt......and I will sing my heart out so loud on that day, it will pop out of my dead chest.
I love most musical instruments to accompany the singing of the hymns. However, the second verse that is sang a capella is simply BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thank you!
