Yours has become probably my favourite travel video series. While the travelling part is great, seeing your relationship, and the 'warm and fuzzies' it generates is the icing on the cake.
Great video guys. Excited to see more. BTW, the pesticide wash past the North/South border at the entrance to Gurerro Negro is a real thing and the charge is 20 pesos
Oh wow Mexico- like Corey said better than what expected and yes that’s great. Happy the locals are nice and friendly for the most part. Looking forward to more 👍
That was so darn cute when Jimmy carried and buckled Natalie into her seat. The three of you make a good traveling team. Love this trip so far, thanks for taking us along.💞
Hate to state the obvious, but the sea water in Baja is extremely salty so make sure you get a really really good car wash of the under carriage. Also the agricultural stop in Guerrero is a legitimate deal. They’ve been doing it for 15 years. Have a blast in Baja! Enjoying your baja videos.
On the Bay Side, take Route 12 all the way to the coast and make a left at the rotary. Go another 10 miles past the IOverlander “la Gringa” spot, and there is a long peninsula between the Bay and Gulf. Amazing FREE spot to stay. Many other vans and campers there. Have a great trip!
@@rvvanlife I haven’t been through that agricultural checkpoint, but I have seen from many on RUclips that they charge 20 pesos. Jimmy wasn’t getting scammed.
So impressed with your Spanish Natalie, really important when we go to Mexico. Love your vids. I have followed you and Jimmy since you were building out the schoolie. You guys are great.
Good stuff, kids. I think I’ve mentioned I’m a 30+ year film production guy who found you during lockdown/pandemic 2020. I really like that your just yourselves, and as a filmmaker your edit points, music cues and opens/closes keep getting better and more polished. Well done, stay safe out there. My wife (a tv/movie hair stylist) are still toughing it out after almost a year of work lost with the actors and writers on strike. Be well!
What a great trip! Those mango and pineapple drinks were huge! Way to go Natalie on the Spanish!!!! Thanks for letting us tag along. Much love from SC! ❤🙏 Jane
Thanks for the great video. Glad you made it through the flooted road. Can't wait for the whale watching tour. I hope you have been as succesful as I was in Vancouver Island. That means you have seen many 😊.
Natalie... You are doing so well with your Spanish. Way to go. I know from my trips to Mexico, the locals love it when you try to speak it. Enjoyed the video.
❤ FUN! So nice you have a traveling companion.😎 We're on our 30th Winter in the Yuma area. The vast majority of the Mexican people are friendly, courteous and honest. The vibe is always laid back...that's why we have grown to love the area. Safe Travels and Enjoy.😍
I do miss your bus, but seeing this, you probably made a very good decision not having one. It does look like you have everything you need in the van. Very nice style open you all the best later.😃😀😃
The Agriculture Control stop is required of all foreign plated vehicles in Baja California Sure, but no one really knows what it is they are spraying. When I did it, I don't even think the spray got past the bottom of the wheels, but they gave me the receipt so I was able to continue on.
Watching your videos is so much fun! It's fun to watch yours on Monday and Cory's on Thursday to get different perspectives on the same journey. Instead of bug spray under your van, you should have paid more for the anti-gunk picked up during your water road😂
by the way that is a real thing they do for border pesticide control, surprised they didn't do it earlier when you went into the country but that is something and it's always been 20 pesos every time I've went into the country.
Hey guys, if that was salt water you drove through you need to wash and flush the undercarriage of the van immediately! That salt water will start to rust the van from the inside out! Keep the vids coming, peace out.
In the mid 90’s I drove Baja and only went half way down. I went through 27 checkpoints. One they were wanting a “tip” so they just kept asking questions but instead of paying I just leaned up against my truck and started asking questions about their life and living in Mexico. After about 10 minutes they decided that I wasn’t going to pay and they told me I could go.
We had the same issue when traveling to a small town beach area in Mexico, not knowing if it was legit expense or not. An older gentleman approached us on the beach trying to sell us some kind of document which we thought he was renting chairs. We couldn't understand each other and declined to purchase, he went on down the beach. We found out later that yes, it was a legitimate tax for keeping the beach up, dumb on us.
That was a really fun video, thanks for taking us along! I was wondering though if the other vans left the site that was flooding or did they stay behind? I look forward to the next video.
I miss Pemex, full service, windshield cleaned and you feel like you’re living large. We’re in Panama and the dreaded self service is popping up. I have to get out and fill the Promaster’s large tank by hand. Doesn’t seem right. And they don’t have the Oxxo junk food supply here either. Leaving Mexico is tough.
So fun watching, had me a little worried on depth of water as you left that campsite-Seaweed on under carriage! Scary for sure! Looking forward to the whale watching video next week.
Chilaquiles seem like a great van life meal. It can be as simple as throwing some tortilla chips into a skillet with a bunch of salsa. Top it with a fried egg (optional) and it's a great breakfast or lunch. Maybe add it into the burrito rotation.
Jimmy and Natalie, I have not seen any of your videos for some time come across my feed. I thought maybe you were taking a break from filming or something. So when I typed in your name was happy this latest video came up, I've missed you guys. All should be good now..
Hello beautiful trip, just wanted to suggest do not stress over a little bit of money like what you paid for the pesticide spray and you will see the change for using the bathrooms or changes using public beach 🏖️ Your mental health is more important and. Think of it like a donation or the cost of travel in Mexico, the government do not take care of the cleaning of the beach or the change at the bathrooms is due to you are not being charged at the store or gas station for that is inconvenient but a reality there just see the overall, thanks for sharing try to visit playa Requeson near Mulege and playa el chileno between cabo san lucas and san jose del cabo 👍😀
Great video guys. My wife and I really enjoy your videos. My wife and I love Mexico and have extensive driving experience in the country. Just a word of caution when it comes to OTHER SCAMS in Mexico. Since there is no self-service gas in Mexico, a common scam the gas attendants use to overcharge you is this; the gas attendant will service the car in front of you with gas, but not reset the price meter on the pump. When you pull up and fill your tank, you end up paying the amount for the gas you purchased, PLUS the added amount from the previous vehicle. To prevent this from happening, step out of your vehicle and make sure the gas pump meter is reset to zero before the attendant begins pumping gas. Make it obvious to the attendant you are watching. Keep up the amazing videos! We can't wait for the next one. Make sure to visit Bahia de Los Angeles on your way back north. The view of the bay when you crest the hill heading to Bahia is spectacular.
¡¡Bien hecho Natalie por tus habilidades para hablar español!! Puedo leer español mejor que hablarlo. Google Translate can be your friend, but could also get you in trouble! Hope I didn't offend anyone with my Espanol. ¡Hasta el próximo lunes!
I'm excited to watch your upcoming whale watching experience!😍 I want to go someday. If the whales show up like I've seen in other videos, it should be an incredible and heartwarming time with those beautiful creatures. Enjoy! And thanks for being so nice to share the plans at the end of the video vs leaving us wondering. You both are so nice! ❤
I had to pay 20 pesos to enter into the Guerrero Negro area and I traveled with other seasoned Baja travelers. They paid as well and from what I understand it is legit. I paid it. I wasn't sure either. It was $1 like you said however yeah it's challenging to tell what's legit and what's not. I just went with the program since it was such a small amount.
You are so kind to go out and let the whales watch you, a little color in their blue grey world. 😅
Viaja seguro mis amigos panqueque!
Yours has become probably my favourite travel video series. While the travelling part is great, seeing your relationship, and the 'warm and fuzzies' it generates is the icing on the cake.
My thoughts exactly
Great video guys. Excited to see more. BTW, the pesticide wash past the North/South border at the entrance to Gurerro Negro is a real thing and the charge is 20 pesos
You guy's are so much fun to watch! You have such a good life. Yes the guy was right, Natalie is the Queen. Stay safe.
The pesticide spraying is a real thing. It is to control the little bugs that get in to agricultural plants.
Oh wow Mexico- like Corey said better than what expected and yes that’s great. Happy the locals are nice and friendly for the most part. Looking forward to more 👍
You guys are going to be very happy and fulfilled in your Golden Years ❤
What a fun video. Thanks for taking us along.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned yet, but I would do a good rinse on your under carriage to prevent rust from that sea water.
Don’t forget to wash underneath the van after driving through that salt water! Have fun!
Wow! So far so good. Cory is such a trooper.
Don't forget to wash your vehicle after driving through the sea water. Need to high-pressure. The trip was fantastic and seenic. Regards 🇿🇦 .
That was so darn cute when Jimmy carried and buckled Natalie into her seat. The three of you make a good traveling team.
Love this trip so far, thanks for taking us along.💞
Y’all are soooo likeable! I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep ‘em coming!
You guys are having such fun, and we’re enjoying your Mexico videos! Bob and Pat w
Love watching your confidence grow as you see new countries and places. What a wonderful life you are having.
The van looks nice with the fairy lights 🎉🎉 nice to tour with you stay and drive save❤
Thank you for introducing Corey, he seems like a terrific guy, and a fun person to adventure with in Baja!

So did they also solicit you to have your vehicle bug sprayed?
@@rvvanlife I haven’t been through that agricultural checkpoint, but I have seen from many on RUclips that they charge 20 pesos. Jimmy wasn’t getting scammed.
That was awesome folks! It will inspire others to travel to Mexico!
You guys are so much fun thanks for taking me with you!
Great video! Good ol´ Manuel working the ‘besos’ angle…😂 Loved the views off of the side window by the way! 🙌🏼
So impressed with your Spanish Natalie, really important when we go to Mexico. Love your vids. I have followed you and Jimmy since you were building out the schoolie. You guys are great.
You should wash the van underneath to get the salt water and "pesticide" gone.
We love watching you guys, just the way you seem to love life and are not intimidated by new experiences. Keep it up and stay safe!
Wonder if hi water was same time big waves came into California? Keep having fun. 😊.
Wow, look at those guns on Natalie taking down the starlink!
Jimmy.....you are a very lucky man sir!!!!! So glad you two found each other. make sure you two and Corey travel safe!!!!!!!!
Your spanish is perfect. Im spanish speaking and understand everything you say. Excellent!!
Good stuff, kids. I think I’ve mentioned I’m a 30+ year film production guy who found you during lockdown/pandemic 2020. Always a pleasure to tune in and see what you're up to!❤😊
Thanks for the great video. Glad you made it through the flooted road.
Can't wait for the whale watching tour. I hope you have been as succesful as I was in Vancouver Island. That means you have seen many 😊.
I’ve been watching your videos since the Canada trip. I’m impressed.
Amazing start to this adventure.
Natalie... You are doing so well with your Spanish. Way to go. I know from my trips to Mexico, the locals love it when you try to speak it. Enjoyed the video.
I’m a new subscriber. So far so good! Beats all the winter camping videos for sure!
Y'all are so fun to watch!
Thanks guys. I could honestly watch a new video from you everyday. Looking forward to the next one.
Oh my goodness...I was freaking out along with you. The water just rush the land so quick. Im still at the gas stations where they have gas attendees.
The sunset looked so beautiful and I can't wait to see the whales next time!😍
❤ FUN!
So nice you have a traveling companion.😎

love to see Jimmy and Natalie van life video's. Good call on getting out of the incoming tide. Always leariing
Y’all have made my day. Thanks
I do miss your bus, but seeing this, you probably made a very good decision not having one. It does look like you have everything you need in the van. Very nice style open you all the best later.😃😀😃
When you get to a gas station make sure the pump is zeroed out first. A scam to be aware of in Baja. Love the videos!
Did you wash all the seaweed and salt water off the van chassis?
Fun adventures. Love it.
The Agriculture Control stop is required of all foreign plated vehicles in Baja California Sure, but no one really knows what it is they are spraying. When I did it, I don't even think the spray got past the bottom of the wheels, but they gave me the receipt so I was able to continue on.
Glad you got through the flooded road, I remember barely getting through a flooded spot in Santa Rosalia. Luckily our car had AWD.
Watching your videos is so much fun! It's fun to watch yours on Monday and Cory's on Thursday to get different perspectives on the same journey.

I would never drink water out of a hose in Mexico. Hope you guys stay healthy.
Wishing we could be in Mexico! Super excited to see the whale watching tour next week!
It’s great that one of you speaks fluent spanish
Have fun and stay safe
14:54 Did you guys get caught in that weird storm surge that hit the coast?
Awesome videos sorry I’m soo late
I miss Pemex, full service, windshield cleaned and you feel like you’re living large. We’re in Panama and the dreaded self service is popping up. All though the video I was hoping you went to see the whales!! Looking forward to your next video!
You gotta rinse that van after rolling it in the flood... In my town here in the Philippines, that's our normal thing. flooding during high tide.
YAY
Hola, to the cutest couple on RUclips!
So fun watching, had me a little worried on depth of water as you left that campsite-Seaweed on under carriage! Scary for sure! Looking forward to the whale watching video next week.
love going on your adventures with you
You should probably get to a car wash and rinse the salt from the seawater out of the underside.
Chilaquiles seem like a great van life meal. It can be as simple as throwing some tortilla chips into a skillet with a bunch of salsa. Top it with a fried egg (optional) and it's a great breakfast or lunch. Maybe add it into the burrito rotation.

That part of Mexico is nice and safer.
make sure you guys sprayed the salt water off!
I thumbed up on 1K! What a great trip so far.

Braver than me. I'm worried about your safety.
yes good video going in Mexico...............
go and wash/rinse off the underside of the van. you want to get the salt off ASAP.

Hi guys next time ask for huevos rancheros con papas! have a great trip in Mexico

I’m still curious about the music tracks….the artists are perfect for each video segment on which they’re used. Is Natalie one of the artists?
You gringos really better be careful traveling in Mexico!
Pest control is required in Baja Calif from north to South transition about a dollars us. It is legit
It’s called tides!
I got Montezuma's from a frozen beverage.
Sometimes the best way out is through...
