I think Sherpa enjoyed that train ride. Of course he enjoyed everywhere you took him as long as you were together. If you had jumped out of a plane he would be right behind you. He will never loose sight of his Dad as you know.💙

American here. Every time I saw the locomotive, I kept thinking that it looks like an American steam engine. And sure enough when I saw the number plate it said 'Baldwin made in USA.' She is a long way from home. Glad to see her all spit and polished! Also glad that you and Sherpa could have a nice day out enjoying a scenic train ride.
Love the old-school wooden seats on the train! Sherpa is such a great traveler; he reacts so calmly to the sudden start of the train and just loves lying on the exterior platform watching the lovely countryside roll past!

Oh my gosh! We rode this railway when we visited the UK back in 2000. Such beautiful scenery - we loved it. It was my favorite part of visiting Wales. Sherpa is a bona-fide rail dog now.🙂

She said it was because the dog would eat the whole thing, but since she's only 9 lbs, it was too much... and they knew if she ate the whole amount, it would make her throw up. There's something about the call of the whistle that gets me every time. I have journals from relatives that helped build the first railroad across America. I hope you and sherpa enjoyed the experience

Now I'm on an island on the east coast, it's seagulls (though my first apartment was near the dinner train, a tourist attraction, so I could hear the bells as it arrived/departed)

I think Sherpa likes train rides, the only problem is he can't catch up on the local pee mail. He's so good at sitting for his travel picture. Jamie could do a series videos just featuring the many pictures he's taken to mark his travels. It would interesting to see the various locations and landmarks he's visited over the years.
I love Brecon Mountain Railway. Definitely represents American steam locos very well. Plus a German steam loco and a Latvian diesel are well represented here too.

I love train 🚂 rides in Europe. Rode the train regularly in Germany 🇩🇪 when I was stationed there and recently took one from Inverness to Glasgow in Scotland 🏴🥰👏👍👍

A long, long wish and dream finally came true...🥰 a ride on the steam train. It is sooo nice that you have experienced this dream and above all that dogs are also very welcome. Sherpa is always up for a good time! He’s such a good boy. We have a train ride not too far from us that’s about an 1 1/2 ride. I took my kids when they were little. I doubt my dog, Schultz would be that amused with it.

I have been following yours and Sherpas adventures for some months, what pleasure. Sadly, my own beloved dog passed away some time ago, and as I now live in a flat I am unable to get another doggie companion. Hence, Sherpa gives me a chance to once again relive the joy that a dog can bring. Particularly loved this beautiful steam train ride, seeing fluffy Sherpa enjoying the view, with the breeze ruffling said fluff. You get to meet Thomas the tank engine! Well done pronouncing Merthyr T- home to the largest known teen pregnancy, in Europe! Poor Sherpie, he looks so tired- and fed up but I presume it's the heat! So tiring in itself, but must be awful for these poor guys- it would almost be like, wearing a fur coat out in this weather! 4.42, it's those hoomans you love, making all that noise. Aw, that smile at 6.16, tells me that now he can feel the breeze and gaze upon tje sites and countryside, to answer your question, he looks more than alright! Hope you both had a blast on the train! And meeting his fans and stangers calling him adorable. Especially the cafe ladies. Oh I bet he is loving that ice cream. Green train...must be Percy! It must have been tired and hot but his smile tells me he did have a goodtime! And the lengths you go to to make him comfortable, surprised, a joyfull adventure...You two were meant for each other. It makes my heart go funny, and happy and joyful. Thank you for taking such damn good care of him, incuding Going to see Granny, Bill and Nook, travelling all the way to Key's, so they can have playdates. Longer version is so amazing. At first it looked as though you were the one having the most fun but by the end it was definitely Sherpa. The train I mentioned yesterday also does other special function rides besides the Polar Express at Christmas. It has done Thomas the Tank Engine and The Dinosaur Train. Both are based on kids shows and are for kids but I know adults enjoy them too. I don't know if they'd allow dogs to ride. The countryside is so beautiful there. Thanks for sharing this wonderful adventure with us.

How exciting! One more thing to cross off your "bucket" list. I rode the train when I was in Alaska. Absolutely loved it! Very relaxing and a great way to really enjoy the scenery.

I saw the short version yesterday. I'm definitely going to do this trip. It looked absolutely amazing. Sherpa is way too cute for words. Who doesn't love steam trains!? Thanks for taking the leap Jamie and Sherpie, without knowing if they take dogaroos. Such a great video, up there as a favourite with the Space Sherpa. 🐺🚂❤

Poor Sherpie, he looks so tired- and fed up but I presume it's the heat! So tiring in itself, but must be awful for these poor guys- it would almost be like, wearing a fur coat out in this weather!
4.42, it's those hoomans you love, making all that noise. Aw, that smile at 6.16, tells me that now he can feel the breeze and gaze upon tje sites and countryside, to answer your question, he looks more than alright! Hope you both had a blast on the train! And meeting his fans and stangers calling him adorable.

Longer version is so amazing. At first it looked as though you were the one having the most fun but by the end it was definitely Sherpa. The train I mentioned yesterday also does other special function rides besides the Polar Express at Christmas. It has done Thomas the Tank Engine and The Dinosaur Train. Both are based on kids shows and are for kids but I know adults enjoy them too. I don't know if they'd allow dogs to ride. The countryside is so beautiful there. Thanks for sharing this wonderful adventure with us.

@@SherpasDay Volunteering at Railroad Museum was fun! We had rail cars on loan from England! I rode Museum's steam train & Lumberjack Special in Laona, WI. Brecon's steam train is in excellent condition! Thanks for vid, Jamie & Sherpa:)😊
