This is gold. Been trying to learn 3d modeling for four months now... Brain just doesn't want to work right with it. Started in blender and came to gravity sketch to try think and move in 3d easier and hopefully learn the concepts of 3d modeling a bit easier. Thanks!
This is awesome work! I have some questions, How do you close an open subd face? Also is there a way to split the frame into different parts for seperate printing? And finally is there a way to get more exact mounting points, for example like a cylinder merged into the frame? Cheers!
Make sure you are in edit mode for the subD object. Try this. Grab the object with the grab sphere, then hit the blue edit button. You should see the edges, points and faces of the subD object. Then make sure you are in face selection mode or multiselect mode. This is on your dominant hand and can be toggled with the joystick. there will be a a little triangle that will show which mode. Then you should be able to select a face with the grab sphere and then hit the red button on the same dominant hand. hope that helps.
I do a lot of my line work with the quest in stand alone/ Mobile mode. I then Connect the quest using Oculus Link and finish the model in the full desktop mode..The quest allows the best of both in my opinion.

Thanks for the great tutorial. Has given me loads of ideas for organic lattices.
Glad to inspire!
thanks for another informative video! The end result looks like something produced with a generative process.

would you recommend Oculus quest or a rift at this time for grav sketch?
