After seeing review of Citroen C3, now I am noticing lots of Indian cars have 3 cylinder engine including Nexon, XUV 300. PSA group is well known and trustworthy multinational company. Hope C3 will perform well in the Indian Market

We have this car for 2 months. Satisfied with all aspects including mileage 14.5/18 . 16 combined. Only issue is steering return to centre action is not great. So requires more corrections
I am sure this car is competitive for other brands...I had test drived this car...Suspension is so smooth 👌 and riding comfort is also good brother....

I drove this car for 3 months in Germany. I wish we get similar built and suspension in 2023 launches, below 20L price range. I wish seltos had such suspension.
3 cylinder with AC on is always a concern for me. Normally engine performance plunges in many such cars

From my test drive experience, road noise could have been a bit contained. The suspension quality is excellent but the interior appears a segment down. As you said, the electric OVRMs should have been provided and it makes the experience cumbersome for adjusting the left ORVM to park in tight spaces, even cars from segment below provide this feature. Rear defogger or rear wiper should have been provided as it hampers the visibility during winters/monsoons while the ac is on and also travelling in the highways during the nights. These basic features and automatic gearbox should have been provided atleast as an option. If CItroen provided these features, the C3 would have become an instant winner in the market as their target customers are urban commuters at the moment.
The clutch pedal feel isn't good and the steering caliberation could have been improved. Considering the price, the C3 offers excellent performance particularly the turbo petrol, brilliant ride quality, neutral handling.
Comparing the test ride experience with the Punch, it is neck to neck and the Punch offers a lot of convenient features. Except for the engine department, the punch is a balanced package IMHO.

Main USP of this car is the Turbo engine as people have to compromise on many things otherwise. Build quality of Citroen will be decent, however I will reserve my comments till NCAP ratings are released, as it is made in India product on a totally new platform from that of the global ones. NA engine will be for sedate drivers, but honestly the car looks barebones with negating essential features like manual ORVM, IRVM adjustments, skipping tacho meter, etc. For Citroen to even compete with the established players, it has to increase the reach by expanding dealership and service network, else so many small cities will not even be aware of the brand's existence in the country :)

@Motowagon, Following you from past 1 year and your team work is excellent & pls keep doing.. Now here is my plan to buy a car.. Montly usage is Max 500 km.. Average City driving Max 125km & rest are service/fourways & highways.
Usage : Family Use -Total 3 to 4 Adults
Opting for Petrol.
Priority is Reliable, Service, Mileage, Safety, Comfort & driveability.
Usage Roads are like 1.Tirupur - Udumalpet - Pollachi - Kangeyam - Namakkal. 2. In future If WFH ends or after 2years then it would be in Chennai.
1. Under 10L - Altroz XT/XZ MT vs Honda AMAZE VX MT vs Baleno Delta MT , If Honda will they sustain in market as per SWOT they have 3 consecutive losses ?If they exit, how about service & spares.
2. Under 11.5L - Maruthi Brezza VXI MT vs Kia Sonnet Petrol G1. 2 HTK Plus MT ? Could i prefer Brezza compare to Point 1?

C3 feel OTR is around 8L which is comparable to Ignis Zeta. Tata engine is not upto the mark. Hope C3 is good at 3 cylinder engine.

I went to showroom to have a look, everything is good. One thing I observed is getting inside and out is little sofesticated for elder people since the thigh support is wider which is good after seating, but the entry area is short for leg to enter freely and we need to turn our foot to enter. Did you get a chance to notice this or is that my feel.

I do think that the base variant does not have any features. PURE variant have the features looking for. They also have a lot of customisation packages. Maybe we need to visit the store and get to know how valuable they are.
Both Tata punch and Citroen do not have rear AC. They might have added this feature in Citroen that might have added more value at this price point.

I have paid 21k booking advance in chennai showroom almost 2 months back, later dropped off and requested for refund and provided cancelled cheque as well. After multiple followups still they did not done refund of my money and response is very very poor.

On my opinion..If u r budget cautious...U can go for it. as they have done so much of cost cutting inside out...If u can extend ur budget. .u can go for Punch..In my opinion.Both the cars will give similar comfort and driving experience in terms of long rides.
tbh i found Punch suspension better than magnite, also punch clutch lever travel distance is less than Magnite, and hence i took Punch, Though Magnite is bigger in rear, has rear wiper etc as standard. If your budget reaches 10L better get nexon, sub 8 lacs Punch is good, 8-9L Magnite Turbo, above 10L Nexon!

Detailed review as always! Pricing just revealed. Turbo has only one variant which is top and priced 8l ex-showroom. I feel this is the big blender for the feature they are providing. Base & Second base variant may be VFM but 9.3l On road for Turbo is not worth it, adding 50K extra Nexon XM petrol has better value.
Does this not apply to Punch as well. Punch onroad is 10.3 top end. Same with Venue and Creta. Venue top end you can buy Creta base variant. So this difference is there in all products. So it’s user decision on top end of one mode vs base variant of another

But what I mean to say is Nexon offers better features & function, at almost same cost of citreon, same engine spec but segment upgrade since nexon is compact suv. Why should I go for citreon. Venue & creta comparison is different if I want feature I will buy venue top, if I can live with lesser features but the segment upgrade I can go base creta. Here there is no reason for me to choose citreon at all.
