- Day 2 of this cruise was supposed to have been spent on Norwegians private island, Great Stirrup Cay but was cancelled due to weather conditions. This video features lots of food, the ropes course, karaoke & live entertainment at Syd Normans Pour House, The Sexy Legs Competition (which is hilarious & one of my favorites) and more. Our third ncl headed to great stirrup... unable to tender on second trip due to rough seas...so disappointing for many cruisers...hoping for calm waters....hey ncl, fix this!

Hi, love your vlog. What capacity was the ship on your trip? Last year went on NCL Gem ( 50 to 60% capacity) and kind of worrying about this ship being full capacity with 4000 people! Did you have to wait in long lines to use the waterslides, ropes, waiting for drinks or issues regarding entertainment with crowds?
50-60% capacity sounds great! From what I remember the ship was at about 80% capacity. The slides and ropes course had at most a 10 minute wait. Getting drinks was a different story. For drinks I would avoid the bar at O'Sheehan's, they always seemed to be packed. The bar located right outside of Garden Cafe never seemed to get too busy and there's also a bar inside of Garden Cafe that offered beer & wine which never had a line. The bars on the Waterfront on deck 8 is another good place to go for drinks and to escape the crowds. Lunch/dinner in the main dining room was a hit or miss. Some days we were in & out and other days our dessert took longer than the entree. We had no issues with crowds where the entertainment was held, just be sure to get there early. I totally get your concern with sailing on a ship at full capacity. We went on the NCL Breakaway at full capacity and with the exception of the entertainment venues being really crowded, the experience we had regarding wait times was pretty much the same. Hope this helps!
What drinking plan did you select ?
We selected the “Free at Sea” option at booking. (Unlimited Open Bar Package) It includes unlimited soda, juice, beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails under $15.
I think I was on this ship in 2018 or 2019, I am interested in how NCL has changed the cruise as you two are on!
Hi David! An employee with NCL mentioned that the ship will be going into dry dock later on this year and they will be adding mini golf and other activities.
How did you two enjoy this event, and the cruise?
We absolutely loved this cruise. The entertainment, food, staff. It was all great. Our only disappointment was the extremely slow debarkation process.
Sorry you two, but my group cannot walk all these floors, we need the elevators!
