When Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28), he's offering spiritual rest, not physical rest.
The "rest" he promises is a state of:
1. Spiritual peace: freedom from the turmoil and anxiety that comes from trying to earn salvation or find meaning in life apart from God.
2. Trust: putting your faith in Jesus and his finished work on the cross, trusting in his goodness, love, and sovereignty.
3. Surrender: letting go of your burdens, worries, and struggles, and surrendering them to Jesus.
4. Freedom: release from the weight of sin, guilt, and shame, and finding liberty in Christ's grace.
In essence, Jesus is saying, "Trust in me, and I will give you spiritual rest, peace, and freedom from the things that weigh you down."
This rest is not a one-time event but a continuous experience of finding peace, comfort, and strength in Jesus, even in the midst of life's challenges.
Physically and Spiritually because the Spirit is in you Body. Anxiety,sickness is physical. You need to understand well.

The Bible says:

- "God has made His home in our hearts" (Ephesians 3:17)
- "The Spirit of God lives in you" (Romans 8:9)
So, God is not resting in our hearts but is actively dwelling, guiding, and empowering us through His Spirit. This presence of God in our hearts brings us comfort, strength, and peace.
