If you want friendly and social piglets make sure you handle them a lot! If you don't they will act feral. You may even get them tame enough for Broklynn's little zoo 😊

Hey Flair..Kunes are actually know for being the breed that do live on grass. They don't root alot like your standard pigs. As long as the previous owners weren't feeding them mostly grain they should do great on pasture with only a small ration of pig feed. I've heard people call Kune Kune the cow of the pig world because they thrive on grass. Can't wait to see the sweet little babies 🐽🐽

Flair should see about having Chandlers Wildlife out to the farm. Chandler has a male baby camel as well as many other exotic and dangerous animals. Wonder if he could give some clues to Ralph's behavior.

They will respect electric fence if its actually live. Permafence shorts on grass easy and its hard to trim around.
Just use 2 strands of electric wire and keen thr grass short under it.

@FLAIR From what i know pigs do dig slightly and can push those fences to get under. id suggest putting boards or plywood along the bottom foot or two to stop them pushing out. and it will help with the little ones getting out when they have them babies. im no expert but its what i see with a lot of people who keep pigs around here.

Castration is simple and easy. Keep the baby boars and gilts. Cut the boys and freezer them fo4 later. Then breed out the sows and breed out the gilts as well.

Flair you should put another door in the chicken coop where you cut another hole in it. Yal definitely need to make the pig pen more sturdy where the panels don’t have much flex to them and you really should get another Carol,another Camel,more Goats,more Pigs,more Donkeys and also get some Lambs,Mini Horses,OX,Rams.
Yall should look into redoing the livestock trailer. A good beefcake episode!

Kune kune pigs are the very best. They don’t root (tear up the ground like regular pigs) and they eat grass. They are also the friendliest pigs. I want some some day! They sell well, they aren’t suppose to be meat animals because they are so sought after.

jalapeno an honey garlic or bbq an the piglets u can continue on with it just have all the flavors of beef jerky if theres to many pigs then branch out to salt pepper mustard ketchup an so on
Piglets will put your building skills to the true test. They'll find every weak point and hole and escape. Make sure everything is tight and sturdy.

Since you are going to expect piglets, should make sure there is a separation bar for the hogs to prevent them from rolling on top of the babies in the pen.

Double stack another fence for the chickens, on top of that use some wiring to make the fencing stable and have and you’ll have a more structured chicken fence. Thicker wire is bettter just be able to bend it. If this helps leave your homie a mention(:

Pigs don’t sweat, they don’t necessarily need mud, they need somewhere to cool themselves. They will lay in water just as well. If they had a stream they would be gloriously happy. Kune kune pigs do graze! Their noses are different so they do graze and not root up the ground.
