This line of snakes is exactly why I followed this channel. Absolutely superb looking snake - I can't imagine the odds and the work that went into this! Something funny I noticed is that she actually has a smile face on her head - complete with a nose. Very awesome snake, congrats!
YES! Finally some Black Axanthic content! The het Pied and het Clown versions I've seen are so silver instead of melanistic. Is anyone line-breeding them for darkness? I see many with brightening genes added or hets with those genes.
Ive been wondering what you have been doing with the gene recently... awesome animals Justin. Just wanna say how cool its been to see ya since daytona 07 with a few pied combos... particularly that pumpkin pied which i still love. So cool seeing what you have done over the year's! Thanks for the friendship over the years.
Your babies are beautiful, as always, but that last one is absolutely stunning. Will you be holding her back for future breeding projects? Will she be given a name?
Honestly no idea - but we only had a small number of original animals we worked with and you would think that breeding them back to siblings etc would keep a "hidden gene" in the mix.
@@KINOVAReptiles Fair, just thought to ask since y'all would know more. It does make me wonder though since both are forms of axanthic and certain ones of each go dark
That's my issue with axanthics.. as hatchlings they are gorgeous. My grow outs became less impressive as they age. Been scrapping the projects on genes that don't get better with age.
Kevin from Nerd showed off some of the most insane ball pythons i have ever seen. Hes downsizing somone needs to buy as many of his snakes as possible. The Odiom stuff is pure fire even in basic genes. I can only imagine an Odium Pompeii or Odium white lace. U definitely don't need to, but U bying his collection would be like Playstation buying Xbox 🔥
The hardest part of black axanthic is the inconsistency of dark to brown even from lineage. Olympus reptiles made a cool video talking about how all the axanthics tend to have this problem. Just because you have a dark one doesn’t mean the offspring will be that way. It’s still cool when it happens but very frustrating when it doesn’t.
I love ballpython I wanna start breeding every since I was kid this snake so beautiful I so glad to see we're ball python morphs have gone these few years❤
That head stamp looks like a perfect little face and body.😍

Freaking awesome bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Justin do you think the darkening part of black axanthic could be similar to tsk axanthic pastels that go dark? Possibly a hidden gene?

I agree! Kevin had some wild stuff!!!
Kevin does a lot of non recessive stuff, I don’t think it fits into Justin’s collection
Bro, Stop telling people where to find the goods. ;)
