The one who is laughing hysterically, is truly masking conviction and is also pride because there is no way that you can deny what Tiphani said. I denounced Delta and can honestly say that I fought against this until God brought to my remembrance the oaths and rituals. If each org went back to those things, this is irrefutable. I denounced a frat years ago. You cannot deny the fact that Every frat /sorority places their organization as a priority above all. Need evidence? Just look at the oaths and pledges. People are literally saying they pledge their life to this thing! This is idolatry! This shouldn't be. Christ should be the priority. Then there are people who would say it's cool to have Christ and that organization. Not so. You cannot mix the two. What fellowship does light have with darkness? You cannot have both. If you don't think your org is darkness, then look up the Origins of that organization, what it represents, revisit the things you recited and the gods that represent your organization. ALL of them have a Greek or Egyptian god associated with it and some of those gods are literally mentioned in the Bible. The LORD was angry with his people for fraternizing with those gods. Come out from among them and be separate.

Praise God! I did the same. Same org and wrote two letters as well. Tiphani is correct about how these orgs are making it harder to get out.. harder to denounce. This matter is completely about life and death.

My husband did the same. Replaced the fraternity name with Jesus during initiation LOL....Eventually he ended up denouncing altogether once he studied more about it and was convicted.

I denounced in 2019 after serving as president of my undergraduate chapter and while serving as VP of the alumni chapter. It gives me great joy to hear other believers talking about this. It is idolatry and I’m fully convinced that if we act as the true church, people wouldn’t need to join these organizations to feel included or like they have family, or whatever else folks looks for. Praying for all to be free!
Thank you for raising the importance of church one intentionally building community. Too many "cliques" in the church. If there was a focus to really see people and actually be inclusive it could combat folks

The lady in the comments said she's set free from legalism but has willingly bonded herself to the laws of an organization that doesn't prioritize God and made her do silly things to be accepted. Make that make sense.

She’s not legalistic they have people that have come forth and said that they had left their sororities because they realize they were daemonic things, and God was showing them things that their sororities were daemonic. She’s not being legalistic. Some of those sororities are associated with deities and when you join a sorority your linking up with deities.

Not necessarily. In another more recent episode of Hardly Initiated, there are 2 young ladies that denounced their sororities and their friends were supportive. If they are your true friends, they will rock with you.

Please stop putting words in his mouth. Legalistic Christians continue to do this. He said they will stop inviting him to the ORGANIZATION bbq's... because everyone will have on paraphernalia and then you got this one guy who left the organization. By leaving, he saying that HE doesn't want to be at that bbq. He never says his friends wouldn't call him at all or that they would stop being his friends.
I denounced Delta in September 2023 and I was legacy. In fact, today (4/24/24) would’ve made 25 years in. Many in my family stopped talking to me after I denounced, even though I talked to them about what God was revealing to me before I actually denounced publicly. They chose to not invite me to the annual family Thanksgiving dinner (even though I’m the youngest one in the family who’s parents died) nor was I invited to my cousin’s wedding or the upcoming cousins weekend sleepover… and these cousins are all between 60-80 years old.
To be treated like this showed me everything I needed to know. Definitely not of God, but the word says you shall know them by their fruits.

It's not about how much a person is not active in their organization. It is about the vow and covenant you made with the organization, when the ONLY entity you should make a vow to or be in covenant with should be GOD! Period. When you make covenant with these organizations, you have already broken the 1st commandment, which would make you in service to an Idol and ultimately spiritually living in Idolization.
The naked truth will always catch up with a dressed up lie. You can sense the conviction on the frat members, but the first thing they've got to do is be honest. They know it's not right, but they just dont want to give it up. That's a clear indication of either addiction, idolatry, or BOTH.

I’m so shocked and glad that this conversation is being had. I denounced a Greek org due to spiritual conviction back in 2015 I believe. The masses of people who are Greek will not take any of this conversation in, but for those whose hearts are being convicted in some way, hopefully they will seek Him and turn away from it.
It’s important that we as Christians are thoroughly aware of the organizations we join. Like DJ Jeremaya said, it’s wise to test everything by God’s Word 📖 and the Holy Spirit 🕊
I remember at my uni, the Deltas had been suspended for some reason. When the suspension lifted, they returned to campus and had their new member presentation…on Easter Sunday. And they called the presentation “Resurrection.” My eyes nearly popped out of my skull when I saw the flyer

I renounced AKA in September 2022. God abruptly opened my eyes to the vows and rituals that were performed while I was in the organization. It’s so vital to test EVERY spirit with the word of God and if it’s deemed as opposing to God’s word we have to abandon it. We make things and people our idols when we are incapable of letting it go and when we have placed our devotion and love above the love and devotion we have for God.
So..did I. It is not easy.

If you guys are a team, support eachother during hard or awkward moments. That's what friends do. It hit different for me bc of something I'm dealing with in my inner circle pertaining to secret societies and the consequences thereof. I often wondered what an active members rebuttal would be on the topic. So to see someone be candid and have a vulnerable/honest moment, then be cutt off by laughter made me angry. The first renouncement video I first saw on RUclips was back in 2014ish from an Omega and his were only a few up until a few years ago where I’ve seen an increase in these videos. Pastor Price even did a two part sermon on frats and sororities and pointed out biblical scripture to back up his sermon.

Over a decade ago, I raised similar concerns about how non-biblical Greek organizations were in a Facebook post, and the backlash was intense-family member turned against me simply for asking a question. He’s in denial because he defends even when discussing the shield in the fraternity. We know in the Bible that the shield of faith is a part of the Armor of God in Ephesians 6:16. So no, you shouldn’t pledge to a shield or mascot. Denounce and leave that Greek organization.

I denounced my frat 13 years ago. They ain’t EVER stopped inviting me to cookouts or events, except for the fact that I’m out of sight/out of mind. I had to tell them no. Especially before I was mature in Christ. Now, I’ll do the BBQ’s before the turn up but it’s purpose driven. I pulled up to homecoming a few years ago wearing another frats colors just to remind them jokers I ain’t going back!! I show the love of Christ and I have witnessed 5 frat members seek guidance on denouncing the frat!!

This is exactly why I was NEVER interested in pledging in a sorority. The people that I witnessed who were a part of them behaved as if they were GODS themselves. It was such a turnoff for me! They were very high minded and untouchable and did not wrong.
This is is real, I am sooooo glad that this is bringing discussed. God recently opened my intellect regarding this is issue. I just left a church where the Bishop and his wife were part of sorority and a paternity. God had me speak to my Bishop about it and told me to tell him to “ repent” and he ignored it. I had to get up from under that amongst other things. But this let a me know that it was not just me…..Thank you Jesus! Keep up the good work Tiphany.

The fact that you know words like "honor and glory" are specified for God than that right there should be enough to walk away from your organization. I was once a part of Kappa Alpha Psi and once God revealed to me that its not of him, it took me at least a year to walk away from it. Cuz why are you honoring and glorifying a shield? The spirit is talking to this brother, and I just pray that he listens. Kappa's have this thing where when one dies, they say the deceased has went off into the "golden shores". I had to think of it this way...I would hate to die, and God tells me, "Go to the Golden shores you pledged your allegiance to. There is no "kappa land" in my kingdom". I'm not even a soror, but I think it is funny that when the issue of professional oaths, pledging allegiance, being a booster for your team, and the like comes up, suddenly you're "changing the subject." I understand the point you made when you stated that your "sorority is not your idol."
And you also stated that you " do not agree with her. But in general no one should ever make sweeping assumption about all members making the org an idol."
We as sons and daughters of The Most High God are responsible for helping each other understand the spiritual side of life. We are also responsible for helping each other understand the spiritual laws that back this life, especially the life we identify with through The Messiah Jesus Christ.
You and your family and these young men from this platform and their families deserve to know the truth about these organizations. Prophetess Tiphani is entrusted with the assignment to teach people the truth. Truth as you know is never surface level when it comes to this walk with The Most High God.
These organizations (fraternities and sororities) are under the government and rule of the enemy satan.
This is why it is important for believers to study their enemy (satan). If we do not study our adversary like we should, we can end up becoming open prey to things that he manipulates to look innocent.
The enemy satan tries to copy and mimic everything that pertains to The Most High God.
The oaths, the pledges that people take and recite in these organizations pretty much copy and mimic our confessions that we make when we come to Christ.
"Frat houses" or "sorority houses" mimic the church environment. Frat and sorority houses imitate a place of worship.
And the "god" that is being worshiped in those particular houses are the Greek and Roman gods that are affiliated with those organizations.
Those gods maybe false, but there are real demonic spirits behind those false gods.
Now even though you do not proclaim your organization as an idol, you are still under a form of idolatry because of the demonic spirit that is tied to the god of the organization you are still affiliated with.
So it does not matter if you yourself do not claim your organization as an idol. The demon spirit that is affiliated with the god of that organization has legal right to your soul, to your life. You pretty much are in an ungodly soul tie with that sorority and you are in a legal covenant with the demon spirit who is in charge of the sorority you are connected to. So through the eyes of The Most High God, the god affiliated with your sorority is your god. This is why your friend denounced her affiliation with the sorority.
You do not realize you are serving the god of your sorority while trying to profess your worship to The Most High God at the same time.
Those who are affiliating with fraternities and sororities are in legal covenant agreements with real demon spirits. And this is why repentance is needed and denouncing the pledges and oaths and affiliation with these organizations is also needed in order to get free in this area.
Everyone connected to a fraternity and a sorority are participating in idolatry. It does not matter if a person has been active or not with their affiliation. That covenant that was made with the organization is still present, which means your soul is still under the government of the demon spirit that heads that fraternity or sorority. The soul is still in bondage. The soul is not free. But repentance and denouncement of the organization will set a person's soul free in this area. And I do believe prophetess Tiphani was addressing that when she did that dialogue on Hardly Initiated's podcast. I haven't seen the entire content, but I know she is sharing truth that deserves attention.

I'm sorry I understand when he explains about belonging. The church needs to get it together. He shouldn't feel his Fraternity brothers are more safe than His Brothers in Christ No Day. I understand the bond he's formed with them but there should be security within Christ that can't be matched anywhere and that's on we the church. I had a stroke 4 years ago the Lord reminded me during the crossing rituals He spoke to me directly and said you need to get out of here you don’t belong here. I crossed in 02 denouncing and renouncing Jan24. For me to remember that specifically after a stroke over 20 years ago? Just know like Isaias 57:13 says when you cry out let your collection of idiots deliver you.
