Thanks Ben for the review have looked every where for review's on these handles and can't find any it looks a great bit of kit but I've gone for the carp response 4m so hopefully it will be a great buy will find out when it arrives this week Thanks again👍
Had mine sinse they came out, looked at seversl different handles but came back to the xs response. Lightweight, suoer stiff, joy to use. Buy cheap buy twice.
Cracking bit of Kit I got the 4m Response Carp had it 5 months now great shipping out and can handle large fish, Light and graphs look great and can be used at all lengths Des Shipp got a review out for this a year back on Preston site
Thinking of buying a top end landing handle. Looking at the acolyte and this Preston XS. To be honest do not need 4m likely to use as sections 2 and 3 only as just fish commercials but want a light and strong pole. For reference have the 2.6 Drennan rigdix . What would you recommend please Thanks Chris
Hi Ben. I’m in the market for a 4m handle and have watched most, if not all, of your reviews as your one of the few ‘independent’ content producers. Simple question, do you have any of your redundant net handles you’d consider selling?
What's the difference between this one and the carp one? I believe you mentioned you tried both, right? Is the XS better/stronger than the carp one? Thanks!
@@Angling4U Many thanks for that. I noticed both are available in 4m length so was wondering what the price premium of the XS actually gets you. Do you consider it much better? Thanks for doing these videos 👍
£120.00 .....for that money you should have had your own logo on it. No way on earth would the angler on a budget even think about picking it up, let alone buying it 🙈
Just like the name calm down Ken lol how many times do we all go into a tackle shop to get bait and come out with £10 to £20 of stuff we don't need a couple of times you would have bought it. After selling my Drennan it cost £40. I understand budget, this simply explains one key area that I believe you should invest. Again I understand not everyone can afford but if you look around older models like absolute version you can buy around £50 to £60 or Daiwa whisker as well cheers bud.
Very useful piece of kit, have had cheap stuff, they break. I love the idea of two screw threads in the top two sections. Getting one.
