Keeping the exposure and aperture + aperture edge separate enables you to adjust the focal length (DOF) without changing the overall brightness of the image. Its a good thing, Also.. there are much more octane settings found both under the light settings when using an OCTANE light, object surface settings nodes as well as your Object properties settings, under Octane object proxy and Octane object attributes, there you have control over subdivisions hair, priority controls over object materials, and much more. And its important to know that some of octane features work in conjunction with LW's native features. But be careful because you can double down on a features for better or worse. for instance... you can subdivide an object both on LW's end as well as octane. which may yield great results (catmill Clark x2) but at the cost of increased render times due to render delays. WAITING and other delaying processing messages as octane has to wait for LW to process resubdivided objects. a time delay which can take the renderer an adiitional 10 minutes a frame!!!!! just clearing out and reloading into the gpus!!!!. should this happen.. make sure to set you LW objects render subdivisions to 0, or do not add any subdivision on Octanes end in its Objects properities tab. it is best to make LW object sub-d's zero 0

Thanks for that. I know that there are much more settings but this short Tutorial shows where the Octane Render and Image Settings are.

@@ianay thanks for the feedback. It was one of my first Tutorials. I had to find out the right settings. The Sound of my newer Tutorials should be good.
