I had no issue reading card on my Mac and importing video to FCPX
FYI for anyone wondering, they fixed that audio issue. I had to update mine but it now works in adobe premiere rush

The R6 also has a memory card slot but just for Lut upload and system update.
actually, that's a USB slot, the V5 has a literal memory card slot so you can record externally which is pretty amazing NGL!

You can set the level of cooling in the settings menu, I have mine on auto and don't notice it.
