It said they already updated the machine to have digital tunning of all tghe samples into the menu, don’t know if update is already out but if not it will soon, don’t have the machine yet
Got mine on Saturday (18th jan) and love it but the lack of tuning covering all instruments is an oversight from Behringer. Thankfully though they stated it will come in a future Firmware update so it's not a deal breaker.
Saturday is when I got mine too haha, and yeah they definitely got a bit too carried away with the authenticity in terms of limited tuning. Looking forward to the firmware update
HI mate, do you know if this thing has 'Song Position Pointer' onboard its sequencer? If you're not sure what that is, then this is what it does... it syncs your drum machines' sequencer with your DAW or hardware sequencer in song mode. so when you skip a section, say from verse 1 to the final chorus, the drum machine will follow and not just stay 'free running' but in sync time wise. It appears to be missing from their 606,808 & 909 clones and basically renders them useless for people that write actual songs, with fills, different patterns for each section etc... It's actually part of the original midi 1.0 spec so it SHOULD be there. Many thanks in advance 😁
What a surprise choice of music young man. You seem to have great taste in music. But O do believe there is a shift function for tuning the drums that don't have dedicated(labeled) pot.
Unfortunately not, you can only swap samples within the 6 tuneable voices as a workaround. Behringer have stated they're already working on a firmware update to allow all voices to be tuned.
@@Znop do you happen to know how much time can a slot be recorded with? or is it like on an sd card or does the device itself can store a maximum time for samples?
@@drillgirl718 The device has internal storage, each sample you upload has to be a maximum length of 1mb so I'm assuming the record sample feature would have the same cap.
Brother musicians, please let’s not ask for too much for $399. When I look at this machine, its size, what it does, its capabilities, the sound, and just the whole thing for $399, I feel like Behringer has become the Red Cross or charity for musicians. I am absolutely sure they are not making money on this. This company sometimes just makes things and sells them at a price that is not real which tells me that its owner does this as passion and fun more than for money. Let’s just take it as is and make music with it and make the best out of it.
Yes of course, 399 is a stellar price for this thing - but basic tuning capabilities _is_ just a basic feature that should be on this machine by default. Asking for that isn't too much imo
I was looking at the TR8s a while back, as far as I know it doesn't have individual outputs for every voice. The main appeal of the LM Drum for me was the outputs for analog multitracking. That and the aesthetics.
No need to explain, or apologize for the tape or the mix... Sounds Great!!! The vibe instantly kicked in so mission accomplished...!
sick jam. I am hoping to get myself the LM drum soonish. Crazy how the grooves just bring out the dance vibes immediately
Behringer posted that they are looking at a way to make all instruments tunable within the os. A later firmware update.
Yes👌🏼
They already are. You have to go into the menu.
Nice jam, that thing sounds like the original and always funkaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy
thanks for sharing this!

Behringer did say they were working on making all sounds tunable via a future software update but it's not out yet.
There's no update for it yet, but it's great to know they're already working on that.
@@gcoudert It's called master pitch...
Good to see someone using the instruments out and recording to tape. Where did you order your LM from?

Yes it’s Coming soon

There will be a firmware update where you can tune all the sounds -
Yeah I saw that on their FB page, seems like the update was due to be shipped this week but looks as if testing might've pushed it back a little bit.
Are you sequencing the Moog with the LM Drum as well, or can it only sequence drum patterns?
You could sync it up to the moog and play separate sequences in time with each other (LM drum pattern + Moog sequence) if that's what you're asking.
@@Znop Oh okay. I was wondering if the LM Drum could sequence musical notes for Midi output, like the Digitakt sequencer

Just buy a tr8s. It does all drum machine sounds

Not the same
The TR8S is a fabulous machine with one glaring omission for old-timers like me - there’s no song mode
@@gms_songwhaaat? Ridiculous! But it"s not alone in that omission *eyes up EP-133*
