Hi Neal, I been following you for a long time and your content is like topnotch, thanks for the impact that you have towards my career decisions, through watching your videos I recently started my cloud computing career and my choices are between a Cloud architect and a Solutions architect, I know I can grab some certifications but my question is, I don't have a IT degree so can i get a job without a Bachelor's/Master's as basic qualifications? May you please help with your honest answer
Hi there! Thanks for the kind words-we're thrilled our content has helped guide your career journey. As for your question, it's absolutely possible to land a cloud or solutions architect role without an IT degree. Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Architect can showcase your skills and are highly valued by employers. Many companies focus more on your experience and ability to solve problems than on formal degrees. Building a strong portfolio and gaining hands-on experience are key. Keep learning, and don't let the lack of a degree hold you back! This article might be helpful for you: digitalcloud.training/why-an-aws-certification-will-not-get-you-an-aws-job/
