my dear tell me about it. very very proud. only we can do it like this.... I remember when this song came out and here we are still in 2024 listening and singing with better understanding cause we are grown. Glory be to God and may he continue to raise people that will sing and compose songs like this with each generation for his name's sake. Hallelujah Amen!t

Brilliantly Composed piece very impressive even though I dont understand the lyrics. Where in Namibia is the composer Dep.Bishop Paul Kisting exactly from? I would like to meet him when I travel to that side of the world early in 2021.Please upload more of his musical pieces. If music is the spice of life please play on....
Gale Adriaanse hi there, he is from mid south Namibia (Hardap Region, I think a place called Gibeon). However he lives in the capital city Windhoek. There are quite a number of pieces, all may not be his, but trumpet playing on those pieces appear to be his signature. If you search Big K’s (Big Ks) you will see him play trumpet. Thanks for your kind comment the channel hopes to celebrate and expose Namibian musicians/composers as well as to enable future generations insight into culture. If you would like to see the notation I can load it.
Thank you for your prompt reply.Dep.Bishop Paul Kisting is surely blessed and very talented we have many accomplished musicians where I'm from in Cape Town.We have a similar project over here. If there is anyone out there who knows how I can get hold of him please do not hesitate in contact me. 0721036610(WhatsApp)
I hope you all could understand nama/damara to understand the depth of this prayer..if translated to English it lost its emotive meaning...this is a prayer,...too deep a cry.,.may god find us all on our different journeys,...ti //gasa khoeda !gawa /i Kai elob oa tse.
Lee-zaine Fredericks hi there. I thought about it too. It’s just that the church is selling the book. Unless it comes from that end I think it will take time. Though I think, technically it could be done as many of the songs in the book are in public domain and can be used for fair/educational purposes.
One of the strongest prayers ever ❤
Proud to be able to speak the language and be born of this tribe
