The poor girl who got kidnapped said “I know I’m a shitty daughter” has been conditioned into thinking she’s in the wrong for these fights and issues. It’s definitely the dads fault not hers
It’s so refreshing to c some1 take a more objective approach and consider narrative bias - I always find it scary how quickly people jump to conclusions, particularly in critiquing a woman (first story etc)
Omg same, so used to see videos like this where the just jump to condeming the person instead of looking at it objectively. Love how arthur actually sits and considers all situations and scenarios :))
Its a anonymous story with only 1 side of the argument. Speculating is the worst thing to do. Sure the op may not be telling the story 100% but assuming they are lying? Why? Just because of the genders? Reading the stories is a way better source of info than speculation. The key points yall are ignoring are Story 1# they immediately suggested a expensive vacation. Suggesting taking a vacation after loss of a family member is normal but going out of your way to make it expensive when you cant pay? Its insensitive at the very least. 2# bringing up marriage right after the loss of a loved one is incredibly inappropriate. Story 2 1# getting offended and angry by your significant other saying they wont leave there kids to die on the street just to make it so you dont have to work is imorral and insensitive.
Yeah, it's easy to criticise women, because its so socially accepted. It's much harder to go against the popular opinion and look at things in a more objective-whole picture way.
My other half told me to quity job to be a stay at home mum if I wanted to. Our daughter is autistic so needs alot of support, we had found ourselves in a position to do so because my partners mum had passes away from a long illness and left us alot of money. So it's really weird that this guy feels the opposite way. My fella was like quit work if you want we will be able to manage so I did. I have ailments and illnesses that make working difficult so I didn't argue with him. I'm so happy that he suggested it and havnt looked back since
While it’s great he’s done that - you have a child, autistic as you said who needs a lot of care. You have illnesses that make it not so easy, i assume you’re married or living together already, with a child so if you’re not married, you’re still very, very devoted to each other. From the sounds of it, he came into this money and offered for you to not work and be a stay at home mum because you were already so devoted. It’s not expected, but it’s certainly more reasonable to give you more luxury. For the couple in the story, they weren’t already married, no children, she’s talking about luxury holidays when she can’t even afford it herself. Your man wanted to make your life easier, this man’s woman wanted to make her life easier. From my perspective if i was in your man’s situation, i’d do the same. If i was in this man’s, i’d also do the same as him. Yours just seems like a more definitive relationship, rather than someone woman who in her eyes has fell into some unexpected luck and trying to make the most of it, trying to tie herself to something that’s not hers.

People ending relationships that have lasted years over things that communication can fix is so sad. Just have these conversations, they'll be awkward, you'll hear some things you might not want to and will disagree on some things but they're important things to set boundaries on and make clear. If you're not ready to communicate and compromise, you're not ready for a relationship. People run from discomfort so much and it just makes issues bigger.
The problem with that is when the action in question is so insanely wrong and they do not apologize or make amends they deserve to be dumped. Being told by your boyfriend that he would rather have you working than his kids homeless and getting mad is so insanely wrong. Bringing up marriage, expensive vacations and saying you dont want to work at all right after the death of a close family member of your boyfriend is wrong in so many levels. Both the 2 stories from what we are told the girlfriends dont deserve a second more of op's time.
That father needs to be arrested for that, and the girl needs to get out. Arthur is right, she needs to go to someone for help. As a parent they just made me sick
As someone who has been nearly kidnapped by their dad on numerous occasions you just believing the victim means a lot, the amount of times I have had to explain why it’s concerning and people just don’t understand because “he’s my dad” or “it didn’t actually happen so you’re fine” thank you for shedding light on that and handling it responsibly and kindly you’re a good person and I love your content keep being you
Mate. I honestly agree with every point you made. And I'm not being funny... but media has ruined peoples' trust in everything now. Like people are instantly on the defensive if their partner has a slight interest in their money. I'm single, but if my partner was to be interested in my money after I suddenly inherit millions? Fair play, because anyone would be in my opinion 🤣
Some of these confessions are crazy to me. Also, thank you, Arthur Frederick(sounds fancy) ✨️ for the content, definitely enjoying the channel and Arthur's reactions 💖
In that first one, i don't think OP necessarily respects the SAHM idea in general, regardless of money. The way he talks is like she's just gonna be on easy street, never worrying about money. She's still gonna worry about money. She's gonna be making the cuts and decisions to stay within budget, if we are talking trad marriage. . Either that, or maybe she's given off the vibe that she's not really going to keep up her side of the work. Like maybe she's a slob who hates cooking and can't even take care of the cat or something.
The first guy has an excuse ready for absolutely everything! And not to make assumptions about someone grieving, but if I had just lost someone in my immediate family the last thing on my mind would be my relationship, let alone the thought to post about everything on fucking reddit
i did enjoy the video very much and defo agreed with most of your statements regarding the confessions. would love to see a part 2 xx also, loving the new channel name!!
I'm with you Arthur about the first story he was way too worried about the money and she sounds like she wanted to help. Me and my partner aren't married but my other half has still put me down to inherit everything because of our daughter. We have been together 19 years so technically by law are still married loo
1st one doesn't have enough information really to judge, 2nd guy is a complete ass, 3rd to kidnap your own daughter it's just messed up, 4th really needs to come clean before ruining the wedding anniversary and take responsibility for the mistake, 5th just needed to get up and excuse themselves straight away
The second confession, the most telling thing is the girlfriend asked if he would leave EVERYTHING to her disregarding his children. That would be a definite no to me too. I applaud this person for breaking up with her regardless how he did it. She didn't deserve better especially trying to put herself in front of his children
Asking the question is totally fair tho? She may just have a romaticised idea of marriage, or, she assumed that the normal societal expectation - that the partner get 100% of the Inheritance - was going to happen, and his response took her back a lil. If they're building a life together, it's pretty normal that a spouse would split the rewards of that with their surviving partner, or, she may have been testing him, the same way the guy in the first story tested his GF? He reacted too quickly, and its pretty obvious that he didn't love, nor respect his partner. He was just looking for a reason to breakup, and it sounds like he wasted years of her life. His kids should always be no.1, but there is zero reason why his partner of many years / his potential future wife, can't also be one of the most important people in his life. Evidently, she's not - considering he doesn't even trust her to mind his kids. Everything he said is a red flag, but you're going to inherently believe everything he says about her, when she isn't able to add any context to the story? You're ignoring all of his red flags lol sounds like prejudice on your part. Theres his side, her side, and then the actual truth... and none are the same.
I have this playing while I'm at work and have laughed out loud at least 3 times already. hahaha! Thank you for this one. You have fantastic funny insight.
For the 1st if she was around the same age (36) I can def see her wanting to settle down especially if he is financial stable because it takes money to get married and start a family, she probs thinks there just isn’t a reason not to
Isn't that whole removing a sleeping teenager in the middle of the night by force and throwing them in a van what Dr Phil's "ranch" does to troubled kids? I believe there's a few teen "bootcamps" in the USA that do that. It's horrifying, and hard to understand how any seemingly rational adult could be okay with doing that to their child, or anyone else's child for that matter. Congratulations, your kid now has PTSD and has lost all trust in everyone as a result of being betrayed by the one person they're supposed to be able to rely on to keep them safe.
i relate to the wedding tape one. Not as bad , but when I was around my nans I found my parents wedding tape and decided to put it on. It just like stopped working (idk how tapes work) and my mum had to apologise to my nan and said she'd find a way to make a copy of hers. My nan was very sad though and I still feel bad to this day :(
I don't what are people talking about the 2nd guy, she wants him to prioritize her more than his kids, that's a no no, of course he maybe lying but there is literally nothing I can do about that
OP took the tape to a friend to make it look like the video had been lost to age. Handed the video over to parents and left to check into a motel. Dad phones the next day ordering them home. OP returns home, it turns out that the friend only did a portion of the tape and everyone in the family witnessed Freddy brutally killing someone. Well obviously the mother and grandmother in hysterical tears, uncles are furious and OP's dad tells them to get out until they've had time to process what they did, making it clear that they're angrier about the attempted cover-up than the actual taping over. Also, he makes it clear the grandmother will never forgive OP for this and (get this) BANS them from her funeral. Absolutely wild. If you Google 'taped over wedding video with freddy krueger' you should find it.
I think the main issue with the first one is that she seemed to have just Decided that he would pay for her to be a SAHM and he would pay for the lifestyle she wanted rather than asking for his Input in THEIR future. But we don’t get too much context about the way she asked, or the timeframe.
So many of these are just thinly veiled misogyny it's so heartbreaking men just don't trust or even really like women huh, even the ones they're in relationships with 😮
My husband works his butt off so I can be a stay at home mom so our kids to have a full time parent! Why is it wrong she wants to be a stay at home mom? That makes you a gold digger? He sounds like a absolute snob
The first one is too hard for us as outsiders to determine - we do not know all of the facts, and the facts that we are given are filled with bias... so I think he jumped the gun and dropped her. She had been with him for two years.
On the first one I agree that she was in the wrong because she only brought up marriage when he got the money which could indicate that she is in for the money. And in the second one. The kids should have 90% of the money the wife should only get a little
The guy in the first confession should of just got a pre nup. If the girlfriend really didn't care about the money then she'd be fine signing one. They were together for two years and then he decides he has too much money to be with her???? Sounds like he's the golddigger especially the way he talks about the money and his family dying and their health problems
the kidnapping story is not that uncommon, alot of the times parents with "troubled teens" send them to "correctional facilities" where they send people to forcibly take kids and basically abuse and torture them. there is a whole documentary on this on netflix called the program
I feel like for the first confession it’s a bit weird that she wanted to be a housewife and proposed the luxury trip extremely soon after his mother died
I don't fault the first women either, as a SAHM she won't work, her career would stall. She is risking everything to raise their children. She should have access to *some* of his money.

I feel the relationship with money in America is very different than the UK, its like they hate the idea of anyone getting their hands on "your money"
Wedding video story has an update on Reddit. It... did not end well.
omg what happened?
Arthur wants a stay at home wife? Where do I sign😂
I think the main issue with the first one is that she seemed to have just Decided that he would pay for her to be a SAHM and he would pay for the lifestyle she wanted rather than asking for his Input in THEIR future.
But we don’t get too much context about the way she asked, or the timeframe.
the change in tone every couple minutes makes me laugh
So many of these are just thinly veiled misogyny it's so heartbreaking men just don't trust or even really like women huh, even the ones they're in relationships with 😮
Lmao that's so funny
**sharts**
Hurry, before the smell hits, ask Reddit what to do! 😂
I would slide into Arthur's dms and I'm not even a gold digger 😂
Ooh I like the new name man x
First guy is pretty rude about his relatives as well, general bell end vibes
You'll always be Arthur TV to me
thinking you can be a SAHM with only 2 million is outrageous.
14:45 I don’t remember writing this post😂
i like the name change!
arthur so based in this video
Mr Frederick makes great points all around 👌
Is anyone else in love with Arthur or is that just me
We call it "Taco Hell"
I eat the McDonalds i get the mcgurgles then i get the mcshits!! Never had that problem with taco bell.
It's funny the start of the vid I thought you were reading multiple at once till you said oh shit your life's insane lol...... anyone else?
Great great video
You are so empathetic ❤
Arthur is the most cerebral member of ‘The Group.’
The Mexican food story is a lie!
Arthur your hair looks darker than normal, name change + hair change??? you could pull off anything honestly
I can’t believe you called the wedding video story light hearted. Even without the extra context that’s horrible!
Dude the first one is so triggering. Men will ruin a good thing because they make things up in their head.
My husband works his butt off so I can be a stay at home mom so our kids to have a full time parent! Why is it wrong she wants to be a stay at home mom? That makes you a gold digger? He sounds like a absolute snob
Shakespeare left his wife his second best bed 😁
Who's Frederick?
Our beloved Arthur Frederick ofcourse 👏❤️
channel name change love
Ooowf! Arthur, calling Taco Bell a Mexican restaurant is like calling Domino’s an Italian restaurant 😂
New channel. Who dis?
I feel like Arthur’s middle name is James
The first one is too hard for us as outsiders to determine - we do not know all of the facts, and the facts that we are given are filled with bias... so I think he jumped the gun and dropped her. She had been with him for two years.
Just stopping by to say that Taco Bell doesn't count as Mexican food 😂
I think arthur bases his opinions of women from the movies, hes paimfully naive bless him
Or he’s just trying to be fair and see it from a different perspective, not everyone is a gold digging monster
On the first one I agree that she was in the wrong because she only brought up marriage when he got the money which could indicate that she is in for the money. And in the second one. The kids should have 90% of the money the wife should only get a little
who is arthur frederick and where is arthur tv ?
Arthur TV is his other channel 😅 this was "Arthur reacts" now changed name too Arthur Frederick
@@Rob17Cotton i was making a joke. I've now realised it's a pretty shitty one
The guy in the first confession should of just got a pre nup. If the girlfriend really didn't care about the money then she'd be fine signing one. They were together for two years and then he decides he has too much money to be with her???? Sounds like he's the golddigger especially the way he talks about the money and his family dying and their health problems
m e enjoyed
the kidnapping story is not that uncommon, alot of the times parents with "troubled teens" send them to "correctional facilities" where they send people to forcibly take kids and basically abuse and torture them. there is a whole documentary on this on netflix called the program
First guy is douche bag 🙄 he was looking for reasons, she literally said "you don't get it"! She dodged a bullet, he sounds paranoid and manipulative
@@jackdar1iipper sadly a common story these days 😪
Right so😊
I feel like for the first confession it’s a bit weird that she wanted to be a housewife and proposed the luxury trip extremely soon after his mother died
I don't fault the first women either, as a SAHM she won't work, her career would stall. She is risking everything to raise their children. She should have access to *some* of his money.
What are U on about kid haha
Get a job :'(
@@LubeSniffer what's not clicking for you? I can explain it simpler if that's what you need?
@@ck-bo7sb yes please, waste more time typing away on the internet for me kidda:)
