I don't know about asphalt but there are a ton of things on the internet about dirt ones.
It has helped me with building mine. Just search how to build a pump track and you get gold

Yeah. I think for places in towns with nothing to ride that will be great. I am a great rider but when I moved, I realized that the closest bike related thing was a few hours away.
