This video should destroy the left’s complaint about suppressor being super quiet because you heard your daughter’s shots and she was 2 miles or so away. Repeal the NFA so those suppressors can be bought right off the shelf and not have to wait almost a year. Great shooting on both of you
When you pose everything as left vs right you just show your poor understanding of people's views. Kinda discredits your argument when you make it political and generalize.

What a beautiful location to hunt. In germany hogs destroy tons of harvest every year but you are not allowed to hunt them on your property. Instead you have to take an attorney to fight on court to get some compensation from the forest owner from where the hog was coming from. What a silly country.
That’s absolutely ridiculous. They can’t make an exception for hogs? Or any other invasive species?
@@Silver-zc1tb No, they can't, even for rats. We have some chickens and as there was a rat plague we were neither allowed to poisen them nor to shot them on our property. We had to call a company for pest control which costs about 500 Dollar (400 Euro). If you hunt them anyway and your neighbour finds out, you have to pay up to 1500 Euro or get arrested up to 5 Years. The law is called Bundesjagdgesetz.
Christian Montagx that’s rubbish. Even for rats?! How did the exterminator get rid of them? If not poison or shooting? It’s hard to trap rats.
@@Silver-zc1tb You missunderstood, sorry maybe a little missleading. The exterminator is allowed to poison the rats. He has a "special training" and licence to kill them. But i'm not allowed to do so even on my property.

Didn’t you have another hunting show some 30 years ago ? I enjoy watching your videos on hog hunting. That’s on my bucket list. I would like to see wha a 50 BMG would do to a big boar.

I would like to see Keith shoot a hog with a crossbow that has a thermal scope. You could heat the arrows and watch them go through the hogs
What caliber and type of round do you recommend for hog hunting? We found some tracks on our land so we're looking to go hunt some hogs too! I'll probably be using my AR-15 rifle if that helps for recommendations.

I have a question to anybody what type of damage are you looking at with an AR?
In relevance to hunting, I'm from the UK so a lil ignorant to certain rifle specs well most but using an AR for hunting interests me.
Most AR 15's are .223 caliber. Not the biggest or fastest round, but kind of the sweet spot when it comes to recoil vs power. Its able to do considerably more damage than a .22lr, but not nearly as much damage as a 7.62 round from an AK 47. Keep in mind, AR and AK are just platforms. You can have them in any caliber you want.

It depends on what caliber it’s chambered in. Most are .223 or .556. They’re actually a little small to hunt big game, but it can be done with proper shot placement. The bullet will deliver about 500 to 600 kilograms of energy, which is plenty to get the job done with good shot placement. That may seem like a lot, but .303 British delivers about 1400 to 1500 kilograms of energy.

It's a harder shot to land. Lung shots take a bit longer but are easier to hit.

Hunting over a feeder is not hunting.
Shooting an animal at a feeder with thermal imaging scope from a lawn chair is not hunting. That's killing an animal on a farm.
Get a 30-30 with iron sights and go find the animals on your own.

do you know where the ears are? the head. it's a lot harder to get a headshot in real life than you think. and they're not aiming for the guts, they're aiming for it's heart/lungs/vitals
