Repair malfunctioning dashboard display of Fiat, Citroen, Peugeot, Opel using Minitools LCD screen

- 👨🔧 You can mend the instrument cluster by following step by step this tutorial video, just replacing the non-working display.
Therefore, there is no need to replace the complete instrument panel, but only change the broken displays with the Minitools LCDs: SEPDISP 34, SEPDISP37, SEPDISP37V4, SEI-DISP101.
Depending on your car fuel and transmission system, there are 4 different kind of displays.
These LCD displays are adaptable to many cars models as:

Sir I have fiat Grande Punto 2007 1.4T jet i puted a Abarth Grand punto 2008 1.4 T jet odometer in it, everything works except for the speed gauge it says 0 kph ? Do i have to program it?

For testing the display without car, how much ampere is required. Can it be tested using AC To DC adaptor having 12volt DC and 2.0 Ampere out put.

I found out a solution. Mostly the problem use to come during rainy season and I use to put heat blower to fix the issue. Today I had put the console in sun for 2hours and the display is back to normal from blank screen .. . Try out for possible option
Thank u for this. Lemme try this out. Mine conks out intermittently. At other times it works perfectly. This is after the car was in the shed only and not seeing sunshine as its not being used for some time now. And its raining like hell for two months now.

Hi @@petewright3952, exactly, displays show any information provided by the instrument cluster. Specifically, the ability to show miles or kilometers depends on how the instrument panel was designed and consequently the technology used for the LCD. For example, the display used in this video can show kilometers or miles based on settings that can be adjusted in the car for the instrument panel.

If I've understood your message it's all about the cluster not the LCD, so there isnt a Miles LCD and a different Kilometers LCD, there's one type and the cluster is the "capo" 😉
