I have finished the steps. I have a V3 that I have rolled the op amps on and love it! Would love to check out the P3 as a companion. I use a WIIM Pro Plus to stream and Topping E30 II DAC. And for absolute overkill, vintage Frazier Mk IV speakers that I have reconditioned. Cheers! Love the channel.

do you think the P1 is the same as P3 but without BT? cause intent to join a preamp to my topping E30ii/L30ii, but dont need the BT, and if i could save some even better(im on the cheap side). And in your opinion does it will bring some warm to the sound?

A P3 together with the V3 and K5Pro DAC is a musthave setup for all users....

I use the Sennheiser MKH 416 and it’s relatively close to my face right above the field of view. I edit the sound and n Audacity after recording. I am also using the Zoom H8 to record which has made a world of difference.

Can someone give me some advice, which speakers would suit me best, since I bought the FOSI V3 and P3 amplifier and preamplifier?
I would go with the Klipsch RP 600M, they sound great with that setup.

Do you think these Fossi devices V3 and P 3 have better sound and do they work better than the QUAD devices 405, 44 and FM 4?
i cant figure out why they would reverse the bass treble from the others they have made before, i have the Fosi T20 and it follows the traditional bass on left treble on right. I hope they change it for the next model, i'll skip this one as it would bug me, it's opposite of every other preamp and receiver i own.. seems like a nice little unit though. I do love my T20, after rolling the opamps and tubes it's killer.

Can I use it as a phono pre amp?
As is, beats my other chifi with external linear psu in terms of quieter background, in Bluetooth mode
I read elsewhere ( I know virtually nothing about tubes/there specs or operations) that a tube needs 150V + on its anode to function efficiently/correctly. There is NO WAY a tube is getting that input from a 12VDC mini power supply. So right away the thing a tube needs to work best as a tube is being withheld. Being as tubes are very old inefficient distortion tech to start with, how good can the final product be starting off with this PS disadvantage?
Using LED's to alter the colour is proof these tubes are being used as an aesthetic enhancement, nothing more. I'm guessing a good preamp would be class A (efficiency be damned), have a proper PS matched to the tubes needs etc. All of which adds to cost. Such a product would probably cost closer to 300 dollars. Any company is concerned with one thing only, profits. The P3 as it stands will sell better and generate more profit that the rig I described. Hence that is what is built.
Anyone who knows more want to chime in? I am in no way an expert, but I try to be informed.
Even though I enjoy Fosi products, I am Still on the fence with this item.

Follow and join fosi group. And already your subscriber. I am using the Fosi BT20A Pro and V3. P3 looks good to have tone control to V3. In your review of the P3 connected to the V3, how does the sound change in the V3? Is it produced warmer sound?
Much warmer than with other preamps. I really like the way these small form factor tube amps add a bit of warmth and character to the sound.
Is this an impartial review or advertising puff piece masquerading as an unbiased review? When a reviewer has “teamed up” with the manufacturer of the device being reviewed it’s all taken with a massive handful of salt from there I’m afraid. Just something to consider IMHO.
Hey Richard, I appreciate your concern and I can see how this can be confusing. However, you should watch the first video I did on a Fosi product and that should give you any clarity needed on whether this is a bias or unbiased review. My long time subscribers know I am no nonsense. Hopefully you'll join them once you get to know me a bit.

Actually that's the wrong question. Should be is expensive audio actually good. Imo it's not.
why bluetooth.. seems kinda random...I wish these chinese brands would focus and spend the extra dollar to make something really good. in the end, this is just another version of the same looking and sounding chines tube pre-amps, I had a same looking device sold under brand fx audio. noise floor was terrible and details were lost.
