It would be AMAZING if Tom and Simon did a full playthrough or, even better, a playthrough of Condemned 2: Bloodshot! Definitley fits with the other games they play although maybe a little more proactive than Tom likes his horror games to be.
If the subtitles don't match the voice acting, it usually means that the person writing them was given an earlier draft of the script so they'd have more time to make the subtitles for the game. But I agree with Simon that it's infuriating - just don't change the script once it's been sent from writer to game-maker!
Alternatively, you can update the text in subtitles to match what's being spoken from the script. Either way, try to have them match up. I'm with Simon and the lot of you - subtitles that don't match spoken dialogue is bad/lazy development.

They never say for sure if the pizza guy was in on it, the people that did it to him say he was, but probably only because it would be a completely different charge (murder) if he wasn't.

Simon, that was the correct staff. Hermes's staff is the one with two snakes. The staff you saw had only one, which is Asclepius's staff. This is also even more-so evident with there being a lack of wings on the staff. It's interesting that a game gets that right.

What he said was not a spoiler, it was a personal conclusion that he made after seeing the documentary, the case is pretty much unsolvable and the insight the doc provides is what makes it interesting, not the conclusions people draw. I recommend you see it anyway!
If I remember my history correctly, Tycho Brahe, had a nose prosthesis of silver as he had gotten a bit of his nose sliced off in a duel. No syphilis, though, as far as I know. I think it was also said that he died from a burst bladder after attending a banquet because he was considered impolite to get up to relieve one self. That's likely just a myth, though. He had probably contracted some form or bladder or kidney disease quite suddenly and died from the infection shortly after attending said banquet.

Guys, the subtitles are wrong NOT because there was some issue with the dubbing and recording, or lazy subtitling. It's a plot point, the subtitles are what the character hears. I wish that was communicated better because it DOES seem lazy if you don't know that.
"It's not a bug, it's a feature!" No, it really isn't. There are many spelling errors & bad translations, both written & spoken, throughout. Forgivable for an small studio of non-native English speakers, but these are still errors, not design.
I had a similar experience to Tom. Except I was picking raspberries with my mom in the bushes when I was 5 and she stepped on the nest. 20+ stings and now have an extreme insect phobia.
Same thing happened to me also. But it was an earth wasp nest and i was just walking around casually until my foot broke through the ground right into that fucking nest. Actual nightmare.
Who would you rather make your buvouac (however it’s spelt) Lewis or Tom, I’d pick Tom but only if I was completely sure that there were no wasps in the area as if Lewis is making it... it’s just not gonna work is it.
As someone who's half deaf and relies heavily on subtitles, this game drives me fucking mad. I can hear the difference in the words and what the subtitles say and it just gets frustrating.
In this game, the subtitle changing seems very prominent in that entire sentences are different However, in, for example, Darkness 2 (Which I recently played) the subtitles are a bit off every once and a while, but so little that it's pretty clear that the voice actors were just like "Well... My character would certainly tack this on the end." or something similar.
Hahahha, genuinely starting to think me and Tom are connected, I read the grades outloud and then said babadook in the weird croaky voice from the film and then Tom says, "Oh, its the babadook" this kind of thing seems to happen to me often

It's what happens when you outsource your voice acting and/or allow the voice actors to 'tweak' their lines
but normally you don't write your subtitles based on the script, you write them based on what the voice actors said, this was just lazy subtitling
