Wow!! Your Gibson J100 sounds terrific and your voice compliments it so nicely. And look at you, rocking the falsetto! Good on you. Wishing y'all the best as you face all the challenges that come with these new changes. 🩵🩷

Fantastic, as always. Love the Gibson, sounds so GD good! What kind of strings do you use? fwiw I took my old Guild jumbo to a luthier in Annapolis. Replaced the bridge, nut, adjusted the truss rod and cleaned it up. It plays and sounds like the day I bought it 30 years ago. So much fun, and I got to sit around and listen to my kid play it over Thanksgiving!

Hey, buddy!! Always happy when you drop by 😊. The strings here are just a regular old $6 pack of Martins. I’ve bought the fancier kinds like Stringjoy and Elixir, but I don’t think my old ears can tell the difference (except that the expensive ones sound better longer). Looking forward to hearing your refurbished Guild!! I’m actually trying to sell my Guild 12-string since it’s just too hard on my fingers . I took it to a luthier and he told me it needs a neck reset, which would cost more than it’s worth 😞. Anyway, it warms my heart to hear your kid is playing. One of my daughters is going to university in Prague and has started playing too. Such a beautiful thing…
Anyway, Happy Holidays, my friend ❤️.

@@17ScoRo Not only does my kid play, but he had a really great band in Gainesville called honorable mentions, they are on spotify, I keep trying to reply that here but it keeps not posting my reply! So awesome your daughter is playing too!

@@limboman4157 I checked them out and they really are great!! You probably didn’t know this, but my dad went to U of F in the early ‘50s, and my ex-wife went there too and we lived in Gainesville for two years right after we got married in 1986, so I grew up a Gators fan 😜. Of course now that one of my daughters is at UGA…GO DAWGS!! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, CD ❤️.

@@17ScoRo I didn't know about your connection to Gainsville. Gavan is out working in Austin now, graduated UF this past summer and we took an epic roadtrip from Venice to Austin together, stopping in NOLA on the way. Love Athens, loved living there, loved being in a band - best memories :-) Had a wonderful Christmas and onwards, mostly lots of cooking!

@@limboman4157 Wait, Venice in Italy?? Still haven’t been to Austin but it’s on my long list 😊. I don’t think I knew you lived in Athens! Now that I think about it, I don’t think I know your TM connection! I vaguely recall maybe that you and Joe Scinta were in a band together? But I thought that was in DC?
