    Every edition is made a little differently, and I normally do some parts in bulk (like gluing the covers), but this behind-the-scenes should give you a good idea of the details that are considered for making fabric-covered pocket notebooks.
    Notebook shown is Yofi Tofi, designed by Noa and assembled by Enon Avital.
    Music: Hippie in a Tree.
    Written, sung, and played by Ben Davis. Additional vocals and instrumentation by Enon Avital, Jesse DeBrosse, and Josh Gelles. Recorded and mixed in 2006 by Enon Avital.

    All Dapper Notes pocket notebooks are hand made from scratch in New Jersey by Enon Avital. Every notebook cover is made from two materials: a good looking fabric on the outside, backed by book cloth inside. These covers are just the nicest, and oh so very showoff-able.

    Your notebooks look so stunning. It’s one of my dream jobs tbh to design beautiful notebooks, that stack cutter and corner punch give me serious envy

      it is super satisfying, and very fulfilling to round the corners and have a notebook just..born out of your handiwork. i hope my videos help you start making some on your own!

    Love watching your videos! So you're binding two fabrics together for the book cover? Can you confirm what type of fabric the book cloth is?

    • @dappernotes
      @dappernotes  Год назад +2

      😊 it's always fabric (different kind each time) glued to a book cloth (also different each time)

    What sizes do you make them before the final cuts?

    • @dappernotes
      @dappernotes  Год назад +1

      just a little bit larger than what I need the final size to be. so depending on the size of the notebook anywhere from 0.25-0.75 inches extra.
