Why sealed floors make walls wet

  • A bitumen coating over this floor has trapped moisture, sending it sideways into the bottom of the wall. As we remove the bitumen, the floor and wall magically dry out before our eyes.     What would you suggest to lay on the floor now everything is removed?

    Good video, but what do you recommend to go down? If the bitumen acted as a DPM and you’ve just removed it, what will you replace it with?
