Those escalators are the originals from older times! I remember growing up in NYC as a little girl in the 1950s, shopping there with my parents and those WOODEN escalotors were there..they are a museum piece.

Santa arrives soon! Mamma Mia Julien, this is the largest store I've ever seen! And one of the most beautiful. Macy's Thanksgiving Day was walking down the 6th Ave yesterday afternoon, it's time to go to Macy's today. I have to confess my friend women's clothing is my guilty pleasure/don't ask my why/.😉 Macy's gives you a lot of opportunities to buy everything if you're a woman. Why I'm not a girl!😅 Actually the first five floors are about good men's and women's clothing, accessories, fragrances, fine jewelry and watches, shoes. The last four floors are about bed linen/pillows and blankets/, kid's clothing, household appliances, some food/Godiva chocolate hi!/ and Christmas decorations. It was good to see vintage holiday displays at the 9 floor and original Macy's escalators to 5-9 floors. Do you remember Julien today is my Italian girlfriend birthday. I've already kissed her and said her happy birthday. She loves beautiful women's clothing, she's has an eye on a not boring clothing. Last year Thanksgiving day was on her birthday and someone of her friends called her "my Thanksgiving baby". Love this name!😉 She's actually amazing Lady and great human being. We know each other since 2018 and I don't know what would I do without her. I'm over emotional today but you know what a day for me my friend. Thanks for fantastic shopping tour.
