Who isn't a "mess of contradictions"? To those who profess Christ as Lord, which one of us isn't "a doubter who believes"? The beauty of this song is that it highlights our flaws as fallen humans, and how the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who spoke the universe into existence, and who is beyond our comprehension still somehow desires us. The gospel truly is scandalous in its claims and its truth. I could go on and on, but this song brings all of this to the forefront of thought and how God truly wants "all of me". To those of us who believe, this is a very powerful and moving message.
I identify with it personally, as i struggle to blindly run after a book, which could just as easily have been changed countless times back then, freely exxagerated or just outright filled with lies. Don't get me wrong, i do believe what is written, i sinply take it with a grain of salt.
People with depression that think: my life is a shit, nothing is good for me God prepares the best in your future, not in the present... you just have to be strong enough to resist until the future
Going to church helps a lot with depression :) In my country (Romania) I have a lot of friends that have been through a lot.... and after starting going to the orthodox church everything changed inside them.There is always hope, there is always light, we only have to look for it and we will find what we're looking for :)

I'm scared but after listening to this song again...I want to be something that God favors me to do. I will surpass all the negative thoughtsI have by letting God to do the rest in me. My boyfriend is atheist… but when he listens to them I refuse to tell him this is is Christian music because I love the fact he sings their songs at the top of his lungs. I believe in hod but i stopped going to church because I don’t like the way church is but the music is what makes me still believe. 💕 He also listens to other Christian rock bands but I still refuse to tell him.

We were made to live in Heaven with God, but through sin we broke what God gave us, and now we live in this broken world. Because this isn’t the world we were made to live in, it will never be able to satisfy us. This is a world at war with itself, and we’re caught in the crossfire. But while we’re here, God wants us to play the part he designed for us uniquely in his plan to bring Heaven here on Earth. We work while we’re here, while setting our minds on where we will be in eternity. No more depression, everything will be perfect and we’ll be filled with joy.
This band easily transcends the "Christian" rock brand genre. Lyrically, musically head and shoulders over most of the offerings out today. I hope and pray that they finally get the notice/accolades they have worked so hard for.
