- Silver & Blaze go on a date together and decide to invite Sonic & Amy to join them, but when Sonic shows up he brings....Shadow? Amy was too busy to join so Sonic brought Shadow as his "platonic date" which results in a fun and also slightly tense evening for all 4 of them.

I can definitely understand if someone headcanons them as brothers but in this video it's kinda weird with the context of them being on a date, Sonic chosing Shadow as his "date" because Amy wasn't available (meaning the implications are that he thinks a date with Amy and Shadow is the same thing/romantic) and they eventually end up calling each other date the more the video goes on.
In short I understand if you prefer the family ship (so platonic) but it's kinda weird calling them that when the implications here are far from platonic even if not "Canonically" romantic.
At least for this video concept.
