Holy Crap! Carol Pope's voice is off the charts and still just as fabulous as always!
That's Ronnie Wood
She sounds just as great when live in person. No Studio trickery needed with her trade mark voice.
She sure gives it all she's got
We all got old, but damn she's still got the pipes.

What a Canadian classic! This song never gets old!Carole Pope knocked this one right out of the park! Pretty racy for the early 1980s!
She still has it going on.... always loved her !! Still do... those eyes !
Carol Pope is a true pioneer, so far ahead of her time!
One of Toronto s
best.
Not an ounce of power lost after all this time. Long may you rock, Carole.
Is it only me who thinks that her voice sounds even better than the original recording? Real class!
Not detracting from her obvious talent in any way, but tech has certainly evolved since the first recording.
Legends never die or disappear ....... 75 years old and still sings like she did in 1982 ..... conflicting birth dates , it is either 1946 or 1950 in England ..... birth records were a mess as we just came out of a world war .......
God damn you guys made great music. Thank you so much!
Carol Pope's pipes are as stellar, if not even better than this track was released. I always admired this woman, she set the bar high for all young women who wished for someone to come along and show us what a modern woman during the last days of being defined by traditional standards. Carol Pope ROCKS
She's still got it!!
Her voice is fricken awesome.... Still after 40 years..
Carole Pope and Kevan Staples...still kicking ass all these years later! :)
Love Carol and Kevin!! Great to see them performing again. Seen them a few times in the 80's
Omg amazing. I’m 52 and remember being so intimidated and scared of Carole as a child but fascinated at the same time. 😆
My favourite
Still has “that voice” a fantastic rendition!!
That song is withstanding the ravages of time. Great!!
Very happy to see the two of them back together. And Kevin, I enjoyed our MAGIC days.

Man, they still have it and Carole still has that sultry voice in her singing that makes her so great. Nice to see this amazing band still rocking. 🤩
F##! Yeah! C a r o l e A n n P o p e
Not afraid then and certainly as fierce as EVER, a trail blazer in the arts and so many owe her a nod of respect for doing so👏👍👌😀
Having herd her live over the years her voice is actually better now than in her party days ❤
Brings back memories of Carole Pope on the stage at RPM. This was a wicked recording...sound is so crisp and clean. The band perfectly engaged and obviously enjoying the moment. You should be very proud of this latest recording it brings to life the vision of the song.
I remember when Rough Trade came on the Toronto music scene! They still sound fantastic 40+ yrs later!👍🎸🇨🇦
Still got those goosebumps ... sooooo good!
Carole and Kevan STILL GOT IT! Made my night. THANK YOU Rough Trade!

Oooooh, such a naughty song it was at the time, too. I notice no-one mentioned the original release date :)
It's about time, is all I'm saying...
You new wave hellions! Love it, more, please!
In tears. ''I don't get older, I get better'' Debbie Harry. #Survivors
Love it! Keep doing it, Carole Pope and Rough Trade! You're my newly discovered favorites.
wooooohooooo... Rough Trade!!!!
they still perform it so well you almost miss how good the writing is
Thank you. Wow. Part of my life. Seeing you live and making us all feel okay in Toronto in the eighties. Amazing now reminding me of those times.
Carole continues with her amazing voice
Crap! Frick’n Amazing! She sounds great! Hasn’t missed a beat! Bravo 👏
Carol’s looking as hot as she was back in the day. Time hasn’t affected her at all!
Carole Pope is the epitome of cool. I want to be like her when I grow up. Lol
All I can say is "wow". That song is will always be great.
Gave a chill the first time I heard it all those years ago and this version is the same vibe and energy. Still giving me the same chill.
This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life. This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life.
Rough Trade was one of the coolest new wave bands.
Still a great song after all these years, wow!
Brilliant songwriter & vocalist.
Kevan Staples is priceless.
BRILLIANCE . . . Remember it in High School
A great canadian band....And OMG it really rules still today in 2020
Canada's music has always been legendary with the best of pure talent. Unique and unsurpassed, hands down.
Amazing. I remember seeing them at "The Chimney" in Toronto so long ago when they first came out, they were so good and apparently still are.
Awesome video!!!!!!! and song. Takes me back a lotta years ....
Happy birthday Carole you rock!!! missed you in Kelowna might catch you in Penticton Hope to catch you in Toronto.
EVEN BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL!!! I just love how they tweaked the arrangement and made it more sophisticated. So impressive! Carole's voice is like a fine wine...
Old wine, kept safe, can be so sweet.
So true---- 🥰
Its great to see this but no way in hell does it touch the original. I love Rough Trade!
@@PrettyFly4aWi-Fi Carol recorded that and the technology wasn't available to most recording artists and studios. That studio entrance she enters in the No Touch video was in Vancouver.
AGREE!!!
Super tight, well mixed, driving sound.......A1 !!
Guys .... Dis is an awesome revisit of a great phucking coming of age tune...when we didn't need diapers.
Kudos to you Mrs. Carol Pope and the band, you dun good😎🇨🇦🍻
LOVE THIS, she kicks serious ass! Great to see you both in this video together Sean and Tim!
? I was wondering who was who, beside Carole and Kevan; I believe that's Kevin Hearn from BNL, isn't it?
Cheers :)
40 years!? Sounds like yesterday x
I really enjoyed that, and it looks like you guys did, too. Cheers. Bringing back a lot of great times, and living them through the tunes. Prost!
Just awesome! Sounds much better now then that wore out cassette in the 80s blasting through box speakers in the back of my 74 Charger
Congrats Carole & Kevan
CAROLE always ...
Great song because it was never high jacked by Main Stream Media. "I Kissed a Girl" was politically commodified and hailed the LGBTQ anthem. She is the real trailblazer singing from her heart and deserves credit over due.
Awesome! more..love the reboot!
🤩!!! Love your voice 😍🥰 (and, your magnificent green eyes 😉☺️) ♥️♥️♥️
My high school days. Outstanding.
Wow still sounds great
I met her several time at the bar 501..a bar in Torontos village. Back in the early 90s and she was a good chat.
Saw her and band in a bar in Toronto. She had this scary aura, especially with the lyrics.Shocking then (still are).Catch RT on their sctv appearance from early ‘80s.
Oh this amazing... y'all still got it. Fuckin amazing song and performance!
That voice! Sounds just the same as it did 40’years ago! Respect.
Still so good
Takes me back. Love this song.
Still stands awesome,,
thanks I needed that,,😎
Man they sound great!!! Carol still has the voice, maybe even better than she did in the 80's. When does the tour start and are they coming to Winnipeg????
Excellent!
OH I LOVE THIS !!
I enjoy this song a lot. I remember my mom was telling me this song was a favourite from her days. And now I listen to it because it’s catchy and I even sing this too on my time when I feel like singing.
Excellent.
Agree Suzanne. Carole/band sounds awesome.

I think she sounds even better now.

KILLER!!!!
I'm 18 and I just found this (thanks to a 50 year old Canadian lesbian) and I LOVE IT SHARING WITH EVERYONE I CAN
A perfect 3.5 mph on the treadmill. Thx Carol and crew.
So freakin happy to see this
She owns it!
Love iit!!!
Our old pub, The Duke of Glouster, on Young is no more.
It was all good.... when Toronto was a very kool place to be.
We'd run into Carol there, and at our local convenience at Bay & St. Mary, just up from our Vic Res Quad...At U 'o' T...just another Sunday morn.
When Manchester did Toronto.🍻
Still kicks @ss👍
That is a song they could easily release now and I think it would be loved :D It feels 80's yes but also has a modern-ness to it XD
