The CCM Tacks XF Glove is perfectly designed for the competitive player who wants elite-level protection and comfort without breaking the bank. It shares the same Impact Protection Plate as the XF Pro, providing players with pro-level coverage to the back of the hand. It uses D3O Zero Foam, a now sustainable version of D3O with the same impact properties. This rate-sensitive foam quickly hardens upon receiving an impact such as a blocked shot or slash and disperses the energy away from the hand.

Why did they remove the Kevlar palm, it’s been a staple since the CS 400 came with them😢

Not too sure, but I guess CCM figured it was time for a change in this second price point.
