I've had the steering wheel setup with a 2.0 quick release and removed the silver button on it. I believe because I removed that it wont ding anymore.
Yeah it only dings when it feels like it. I love mine so much. But i sometimes get aggervated when it doesnt ding

In one video ive seen he turns the wheel 160 before it snapping in and it also rattled so satisfying. Is that from another version(2.1,2.5,2.8,3.0) or does the 2.0 also do that and he just didnt show?
It’s the 2.0 he has. It has a spring loaded ball bearing button that just pops into place (ding). If you want to spin it just put it in with it offset (not in the hole) then spin it 170 degrees away from the hole.

Sure man, if you want a quick release any 6 bolt steering wheels will bolt up. U just need a hub for your cars make/model. All of what u want is found on NRGs Website getnrg.com/
If you want to run different wheel example a Nardi, personal or MoMo it will also fit/bolt up

@@pearsonthegreat1918 no worries man! Pick out a short hub, if you wanna run quickrelease the 2.0 model is the only one that dings if your after that. U also do have to run a quickrelease if you don't want! Best luck with the build man! Rx8s are super underrated!

The nrg 2.0 dings. All others will ding too but needs the collar removed. To make things simple get the 2.0!

I dont think you can buy them off the NRG site, but there are alot of authorized dealers, and you can buy them off Ebay/Amazon as well.

Yes it should fit, nrg quick releases are universal. Only the hub is car specific

@@chadbod4385 older NRG wheels were kinda sketch but the newer ones are way better and strong. Friends of ours have been running an NRG wheels for years with no issues!
