Happy 10th Birthday Miku!
So this is something a little different since it's a present and also a look back on all my covers over the years um yeah so enjoy!
First, yeah I know that I’m late but I thought “hey, it’s better now than never” ya know! And also last week I was sorta kinda in the middle of a natural disaster but thankfully our house didn’t get flooded but neighborhood will be recovering for awhile. Also I was then at San Japan as a guest where I got to meet some of you! So I’ve been really busy but really wanted to do this because it means so much to me. I meant to do a little nostalgia trip with a bunch of my past covers and also finally re-do a cover that youtube took down a billion years ago yet somehow still is remembered by so many? It’s strange but ah well, I hope this is a good enough present for the little queen who has done so much for my life without her ever knowing. Cheers to 10 years!

I know this is 2 years late, but I don’t care. Odds and Ends is a special song in my heart, specifically this version of it in particular. I’ve never dealt with bullying, but I’ve had times where people would tease me, specifically family, and they didn’t know that those words hurt. They thought they were trying to be funny, and I understood that. This cover gives me a sense of protection, almost. It’s like a friend, who’ll stand by you through thick and thin. They’ll never leave your side, and cheer you up when you’re down, and that’s what I love about ODDS AND ENDS and Juby’s cover. Juby, you did an awesome job with this. Thank you for so many years of happiness and while I haven’t been around for that long, I’ve been happy with your covers. Thank you so much!

I feel you, my mom once called me an asshole and I realized she was right, so I just do my best. She also acted like nothing happened, but she keeps having "off days" where she does everything she knows makes me angry and hurt, it makes me feel abandoned and im not okay, so I feel you
Honestly, this is kind of, tear jerking?
I mean, looking back at all these old covers, at all these years of just, Miku, makes me feel kind of, nostalgic, I guess. It makes me want to cry. This song itself has always been a bit of a comfort for me in all honesty. When Juby sings the " I'll never let them hurt you again " line, it resonates with me. Not just because I've dealt with bullying. Not just because I've felt so alone for a long time, but, because it feels like it's just, me and the music. Me and Miku. And me and Juby. Even if it is silly to get emotional over a song, I always do. Because it's so close to me personally.

About a year and a half later, and this song never fails to bring tears to my eyes. That line "Why can’t I even find the strength to save my only friend?" just tears at my heartstrings. That entire section the line comes from being the most emotional part of the entire song. It's not often I come across a song that brings out emotions in me, much less bring me to tears, but this one is one of the few. I can feel the heartache and sorrow felt by the characters in the lyrics. That I am able to muster up such words for a song is nothing short of the highest praises I can give.

I just feel like saying this. My metric for whether or not I like music is based on the emotional response I get. Juby has always managed to hit that, every song, some make me happy, some bring about sadness, the whole rainbow of emotion. That's why I always jump on it whenever I get that wonderful notification saying that she has uploaded a new video. But this, this is amazing. A lot tends to only get one emotion, and that's fine. But this got the whole rainbow, I feel can't even name most of them. And this is just personal, but towards the end, when I see Drop Pop Candy, I get this overwhelming nostalgia, cause that was the song that made me subscribe and I can't think of anything I'm more happy to have done. Thank you Juby, your music gets me through every day in a good and cheery mood, and I can't think of one other singer who can do that!

Thank you to Ryo for writing this song. I can only imagine the criticism being put unto him when making this song. He didn't only voice out his feelings, but even for those who felt the same but weren't able to voice it out themselves. That's why this makes it sound so triumphant yet sad, To be victorious against the hatred and sadness yet sad because this was his last stand to make a difference not only for himself but for others. What an Amazing cover. a Truly Amazing job on this. I'm sure you've made him proud in voicing this song out even more to others through our language.
What's even crazy is that during his time, the developers of Hatsune Miku were struggling thinking they won't be able to really make it through the difficulties in bringing our Virtual Diva to life. But, because of each artists contribution and heartfelt efforts to giving life to Miku. She became successful and is where she stands due to the efforts of these artists. This song is amazing! I have been bullied for my being different due to my autism, adhd, and many things that will get in my way of being a person they would care about all my life. The only thing I had was my singing voice. It got so bad, I have gone numb to bullying. While this is a good thing, it is also a problem. But that is why I sing. To show the world that I can still be a someone who can fit in and it also is a way to show my feelings to others. It's just a bonus that singing is fun!

Wow. I was really touched by that song. It almost sounded like a goodbye from Hatsune Miku., but none of us want this to be the end. I started loving Hatsune Miku songs a long time ago and it taught me more about life and holding on to what's dear more then anything else ever did. This is amazing! I love this song so much, and this cover made me love it even more! Having the orcrestra in the background makes the song even more beautiful! I literally started crying it's so beautiful!
It's my last year in high school and we have something like a 'talent-contest' in my school, where we can sing, dance and so on. The best 5 will perform at the last day of school and at prom. I really wanted to participate in that this year but didn't know what I could do. Now I think I'll sing this song to end the 'last chapter of high school'. Not only for me but also for my classmates and I really hope they will feel the emotions in this song like I did.

Honestly, I've been subbed to you and inspired by you many times, but nothing has impacted me on first watch nearly as much as this did. Looking back at your past videos and going back to this song and lyrics that have lasted throughout so many years really fit a 10 year anniversary to Miku. It's a classic song and amazing English lyrics with fresh vocals and an amazing video. This video is basically a masterpiece, in my opinion!
Also, having covered a lot of songs with your lyrics, including Odds and Ends, it's very...emotional to see the snippets of your videos that made/make me want to continue doing stuff on RUclips and start listening to Vocaloid music. When that bit of Clean Freak popped up I almost started crying lol, I had covered your version and it was one of the first covers I felt kinda proud of...

I actually forgot where I was when I was listening to this. xD It's like I'm just surrounded by music and a grand orchestra all playing a beautiful melody. And I'm not even wearing headphones! The first time that i listen "Odds & ends" it make me cry, heaven with out knowing japanise, just with the music and the video, then i listen it whit subs and make me cry heaven more than the fist time, and now you make cry again, is a mix of happiness and melancholy.
I usualy dont like covers, but you make me love this one, keep it going.

I didnt know quite what this was about bc its my first time hearing it and i realized at the end do when i went back and listened again i just broke down crying. Beautiful job.
This cover destroyed me. I was sobbing by the end with every emotion flying in every direction. The original cracked my heart in half but this song atomized it. And yes I'm saying this song should be classified as a WMED (Weapon of Mass Emotion Destruction).
I found myself crying my eyes out. This song means so much to me, particularly because I turned to the Vocaloids and Miku when I was in such an unhappy place, and as the time went by, I changed but my music tastes changed too. I ended up not listening to Vocaloids at all for like one year and a half. Then, I found myself quite down again, and coincidentally I stumbled back on all the Vocaloid channels I had followed back then (and which I had forgotten to stop following). I relate to the composer on so many levels; it seems wherever I'm going, Miku is going to follow me and put me out of my misery again. And it's strange how the voice of someone who never even lived in the first place has had such an impact on me, left such a mark and such beautiful things behind. But I'm forever grateful, to Crypton Future Media, to Ryo and all the amazing composers out there, and to you Juby, for reminding me how great the journey has been so far and will be in the future.
