I’m confused on the stance here.
King Groot is known for having great regen and good damage. Deathless King Groot got a reduction in healing for a bump in damage = Good?
Vision is known for great power control and shit damage. Deathless vision got a reduction in power control for a huge bump in damage = bad?
Again, I’m just confused about what there is to be upset about when they did the exact same thing with the last deathless champion and nobody cared
The difference is that a potency reduction in regeneration is not as big a deal as draining less power/gaining no extra power that happened to deathless vision. og vision/AoU vision are only ever usable because they can consistently drain the opponents power meter, enough to completely deny the opppnent any thrown special attacks (or at least minimal). This vision is not going to have nearly as much control, and in matchups where you ideally want the opponent to never throw a special, even one or two extra ones kind of defeat the entire purpose of the util.
@@heckogoop4318 all I gotta say to that is balance. There’s no way they’d give him increase damage and utility and keep his insane power control the same. It’s a give and take. Gave him more damage and took some power control. Sounds like a fair trade to me. If you want to use the power control you’re talking about go use OG vision.. no one’s stopping you from doing thatz
@@blackhole5353. well of course what they did makes sense, im not arguing that. i believe that the trade off here actually ends up hurting the character more-so than the other deathless champs. So far they’ve all just been beatsticks so i suppose they had to nerf a widely available 7* somehow.

Unreal, you bash Deathless guilly for not being changed enough, deeming it "lazy", and now we finally have a deathless variant that actually plays differently than its original, and it is "losing identity". What do you want them to do?

Gully is a banger. I dunno what some of you are smoking but she melts opponents like crazy.
To be honest this kit more so represents the essence of the character. Not necessarily the trophy champ he is in the game normally. He will be a LEGIT WeaponX counter and I’m actually really excited to get to use my 7* to take him out. Huge win from Kabam
The reduced power burn is so that you don’t have to slog to get the enemy back over a bar of power and you can keep them going over and under to build the furies I assume, if he had his base power gain still from the sig I think it would work nicely

You're definitely not wrong. I like that they added a phase mechanic...but they nurfed his power control too much, without adding enough to compensate. I can live with the nurf to sp1 power drain, but nurfing sp 2 as hard as they did is a bit much. At least make it a power steal similar to AoU Vis.
Community underrates IMO the first two deathless.
But everyone entitled.
Gully is super simple, but highly effective in BG, AW,,AQ, questing. Gets things done. Great damage, degen, heals up.
Just gets sh_t done
Oh wow I didn't realize they removed all Vision's power gain. That's gonna make it a lot harder the build phase charges bc you won't be able to throw as many special attacks. I dunno, this seems very mediocre without the power gain. The power gain would've allowed you to access a lot more specials which would build up a lot more phase charges. No it just seems like a champ racing to throw his L1's to keep the fury's up.
When is it that you guys will be able to show his gameplay?
Three pieces are still needed to get the champion. Two of them should come out tomorrow. The other would be sometime before the end of the month

I think he looks more fun. For sure his power control isn’t what it used to be, but there are plenty of champs that have decent damage that aren’t power control champs. I think he would just be used as a utility champ with decent damage instead of just a power control champ, which is fine to me as long as his damage is decent.
He at least is the most unique deathless champ compared to the other two since deathless kgroot and guilly are basically the same as their counterparts with slight tweaks, whereas deathless vision is essentially a whole new champ
Are these the numbers on a max 7* or 6*? If this is a 7* that's pointless since we can't max him. Seeing the max 6* would be more helpful numbers wise since we'll be able to see what we can do right now
Those were max 7*. However the fury damage doesn't increase based on rank. Really the only numbers that would change would be the base health, base damage, and sig ability
We'll wait and see if he does anything useful. Though reading the abilities makes me think no. Guessing his ramp won't work well enough to get full damage. And power control is not strong enough to fully control a complete fight.
They need to fix the "If activated during special attack gain an additional fury"
The way it reads now would mean vision gains an additional fury when he strikes an opponent during their special attack as he only gains fury when he hits the opponent during phase (which would be way cooler IMO)
But im assuming they mean activate phase during a special attack grants an additional fury (so parry specials)
They won’t do it, but if he is phasing, it should deal max power burn instead of a bar of power.
That would put him up there and they don’t want that since he is limited champion. They seem to be testing out mechanics with this.

No you get the first 7* and 6* piece for free, the rest of the 6* pieces you can buy through various in game stores but if you collect all the 7* pieces then when you purchase the 7* you also get the 6*

I think you’re right. I was so excited by the prospect of him. They’ve wrecked what made the character appealing. Now it’s managing defender power across full bar lines and phasing to build fury. In a game where everybody can now counter miss and immune to power manipulation is becoming more common.
Phasing is a major part of vision that they never included in his original kit. No way y’all complain when they make something better and then complain when they don’t change much either
@@Liaaa900 that is a point and we’ll have to wait and see cause I’m sure someone is gonna find some fantastic uses for him. It just comes at the expense of losing the two things people valued him for. Absolute power control.
So far none of the deathless champs have disappointed. Vision seems usable now.
Typical example of human's fault; no matter what, people would never be completely satisfied.

Most of these deathless have been predictable because of the infinity war event we had years ago where we saw some of these deathless already but anyone have guess for mutant? Maybe gambit because he was a horsemen of death?
Is it even guaranteed that they'll be mutant? I mean, I'd be bummed if we got two deathless of the same class, so I'm hoping they don't do Hyperion or Scarlet Witch like the event, but there'd always the possibility that Kabama follows through
Tuff to be disappointed when your expectations are zero.. I nvr expected the Deathless champs to be anything but slightly "cooler" looking version of what they were

We don't know yet but it might be from incursions

No power Steal, no power gain. Less power burn. We are far from both vision. I agree with kt1. Heal Block is not that relevant. Now he can only do 2 things (power/hello block). And he s not crazy for both of them

I'm happy with any power control tbh. Anything that keeps them from the L3 is massive to me. But again the dmg has to be there, but if it is and there's power control that's a W, we'll see.

Lame that Kabam doesn't realize that they can just add shit to champs. They don't absolutely have to take something away first. Was OG Vision's power control too good if they just stole a few things from Viv and added them to his regular kit?
