Loved the mother and daughter in the Montclair convertible!! The ladies and little girl in the T-bucket were a hoot! Also, the lady in the huffed '40 Tudor.
What I like is that whether it's a custom, stock, wildly modified or whatever is that it's cool... even the cars that weren't cool in their day are cool now...
Great job again on the video! Looks like Saturday was a blast, I'll have to consider going to the Saturday show next time. 2:13 - I've been looking for that Stater Brothers truck for many years! I was at the American Truck Historical Society Show the following day and was hoping they would bring the truck there. I'll catch it at some other show hopefully! 7:40 - Didn't know that Merc was still in SoCal!
Question. We had an auto shop in Rubidoux back in 88-89. I left fall 89..not sure how long shop stayed open. My question....A green Chevy p/u pulled in one day...stock rack...hay in the back. Had big push bumper on front. Year...1970ish. What caught our eyes was the 427 badges. Farmer owned it and told us it used to be pit truck for racer at the local track. I don't remember racers name. According to sources I've asked, Chevy made no p/u's with 427 engine. But...I know what I saw. This was pre cell phone cameras and such.
Ok, you're approved. I believe I saw a Corvair (2nd gen at 42:58)? ;-) For decades the Corvair front suspension was the go to piece for Hot Rodders, that's until the Mustang II came out.
What I can't figure is all these guys with blowers and motors that sound like they come right out of a pro stock, Driving on California streets with the strict emission standards set in California but then again, I noticed that these were mostly 1960s and earlier vehicles so there must be a window for year of exemption...I also noticed a few cars with centerline wheels....You'll pay a ransom for a set of those today !!!
Cars only have to pass the regulations that were in place at the time of their manufacture. Can't put an obd2 engine in an obd1 chassis etc etc. Special events also tend to be, well, special. Not too uncommon to see cars with no plates and stuff like that. But outside of an event you're going to get hassled.
@@vdrivevideo I have two 1965 s and a 65 ,770 h two door black with white interor .all being on going projects 327 rambler powered .not big money invested just cool rides !

A few of the drivers are members of the Car Show staff and are required to wear orange vests for insurance reasons. They could have taken the vests off to cruise in their cars but they chose not to.
What in the hell do you all you people in Riverside to to be able to afford all these fancy cars damn somebody's got to have a lot of work around there they all you people that much money to be able to afford hot rods

Notice each vehicle had its own identity. Love classics! All! Antique, Classic or just old!
Very nice video to compliment very nice cars. Thanks for posting.
Long time ago all this car was every plase in USA....it was super time
I just noticed...the nicer the car, the quieter it is! Gas stations did a booming business that day!

'75 and older cars are exempt from testing.

We live in our hot rods. haha

Why do drivers wear safetyvest??
A few of the drivers are members of the Car Show staff and are required to wear orange vests for insurance reasons. They could have taken the vests off to cruise in their cars but they chose not to.
