  • This week we finally install a chicken coop door, and we can't believe we didn't do it sooner. What a life changer. You can use a remote control to open and close the door from inside yourself, or use the light sensor to have it open at dawn and close at dusk.
We had struggled to find a door that was also big enough to accomodate our TURKEYS AND DUCKS as we keep them in the same coop as our chickens. We finally found one and we couldn't be happier.
You can get yours at: s.vevor.com/bfP6HN

I have someone similar that can be set on timer or light sensor. I dont wanna keep setting the time as seasons change and the light sensor closes when there is still some light out and locks the birds out. Do you have those problems and how do you solve it?

Cool! How did you finish off the edges of the hardware cloth so the birds don't get hung up on it?

We just trimmed them right to side of a row of mesh so there were no bits sticking out
