Hi Chris! This is awesome adventuring.. and love your style. That is the best looking camp chair/lounge setting I've ever seen. Great editing! I really appreciate you showing us your point of view on the journey and sharing these moments with you. Keeping them coming!
hi Kirsty :), really stoked you enjoy my videos, Thanks for taking the time for the nice comments !! its always a great feeling to hear someone enjoyed my stuff !!! Thanks heaps for watching !!
Love what you do , and how you make videos -without unnecessary music or talking. I have subscribed your channel and wish you never gonna stop doing this!! Take care of yourself and your son!
Mate thanks heaps for the really nice feedback, I'm always stoked as to hear when someone enjoys these videos !! thanks heaps for subscribing and I'm def gonna be making more !! Thanks again -- Chris :)
Ahhhh Chris, this brought back happy memories of a very enjoyable overnighter there, (probably 4-5 years ago now). There had been very little rain and the creek where we camped was so low, we had to use plates to scoop the water up: took ages and thankfully we had some plates!!!? It was also blowing a heavy southerly wind, which kept us on our toes on certain parts of the walk. Most of it was fine to be fair. Love it down there and want to go back to do some more.
Great video...you made it look so relaxing. You've inspired me to try another attempt on sumitting The Castle...this summer! I prefer ropes on the narrow chute before the summit..I feel so vulnerable there. Last time there was only an old weathered rope. But I am bringing my own this time and taking it out with me too.
Really stoked you enjoyed the video mate, Thanks heaps for the nice feedback too. its such a beautiful place up there,. best of luck getting to the top mate you def won't regret it !!
Chris, what a cool way to get to the summit, loved the cascading water and squeezing through the rocks. What a spot to watch the sun fall and rise and another amazing camping spot! Brilliant adventuring :-)
thanks heaps gerry, that whole area has some amazing places to explore! a good dose of rum at sunset made it that much better :) thanks heaps for watching and stoked you enjoyed !
its such a beautiful place, definitely one of my favourite places, I hope you get out there asap :) thanks heaps for watching the video , subbing and your comments its really appreciated !! :)
Good evening Chris 😊 Lost for words, probably one of the most beautiful place lve ever seen 😲 thank you so very much for sharing. All the very best 🌱🌱🌱💕👏👏👏👏👏uk
Hi Chris, recently stumbled across your channel and loving your content. Living the dream mate. Just wondering if you could post a vid one day showing how you knock up those excellent camp chairs with details on what material you use? Keep up the great work.
hi Perrin :) stoked your enjoying my videos mate !! in one of my other videos ( hiking corang ) there is a better look at building the chair, but it consists of a piece of fabric about 1m long , fold over the ends about 100mm and stitch, this is to put a pice of rope through at one end to tie up to the top of tri pod and the other is for a thin log to go through to be tied to front tri pod for bottom of seat. Tripod is made from 3 logs about 2/2.5 m long tied at top hope this helps :) thanks heaps for watching and let me know if you need any more info -- Chris
top vid chris, really enjoyed it mate, stunning location and some brilliant footage, you should make a still photo of the shot of youre silhouette on the edge of the mountain watching the sunset, cheers mate.......johny
thanks heaps for your kind words Johny, its funny that you say that because a mate screen shot that scene and sent it to me last night haha, it makes a pretty bloody good photo! thanks heaps for watching mate its really appreciated :)
Wow! What an incredible, treacherous, beautiful place! And SUCH AN EPIC CAMP SITE! Thanks for the video - I found your channel via Happy Trails with Nick :)
stoked you enjoyed it !! Th sunset and rise have to be seen to be believed, such a beautiful place. thanks heaps for watching and your nice comments, its really appreciated:)
Parabéns Chris, pelo ótimo vídeo e pela força de vontade em fazer as filmagens mesmo tendo que posicionar a câmera em vários lugares para gravar você passando. Gosto muito de assistir seus vídeos da natureza australiana.
mine too, I've only ever camped at the cave and overhang and always left gear there, so carrying a full pack to the top was interesting haha, glad I had rum in it for sunse. Thanks heaps for watching :)
Really stoked you enjoyed it !! Its a good bit of fun setting up some of the shots :) Thanks heaps for checking it out mate, hope you enjoy some of my others ATB -- Chris
Hey bud. Looked like a great trip. And that sunrise was spectacular. You know what would be great to see.......yourself and Scotty’s Gone Walkabout doing a collaboration hiking/overnight camp. Not sure if anyone has thought that but would be epic. Looks like you’re both from the same amazing part of the country and both enjoy the beautiful camp spots that are hard to get to. Just a thought. 😉😉😉 Cheers mate.
yeah mate I've done 2 beauties, light to light from eden aprox 30 kms over 3 days, and the nadgee wilderness track from Mallacoota north aprox 65 km over 5 days, I made a video of the light to light, was 1 of my earlier vids. Both were awesome, with great camps. Nadgee was amazing, really remote wilderness
haha yeah we call them bullshit artists hahaha, such a beautiful place around there, stoked you enjoyed it and thanks for checking it out :) I really appreciate it!!
Hey Chris cool video buddy, been sussing out this track for a while. Enjoyed yours the most. I have a quick couple of questions regarding this. Where did you park your car to start and end the hike? How long did it take? I have a low car, will it make it to that spot? Also terrified of heights but down to face fears, the ropes that were there to climb to the summit, how safe is it? Was there much of it? Which track did you follow? I'm sorry if I asked questions you've already answered. Cheers! Quan
laquanito hey mate, stoked you enjoyed the video! I parked the car at long gully camping area which is a couple of K pasted yadboro flats . Track itself tacks about 10 hrs up and back if your fit, it gets abit vague in parts so keep your eyes out for pink ribbons and arrows on rocks . Rope section isn't too bad abit hairy if you don't like heights :) ropes are in good condition. It's a tough hike but very worth it! When I hike alone I carry a sat phone and a spot lock and def tell someone exactly where I'm headed . Hope you have a good hike !!!! Thanks heaps for watching and comment again if there's anymore I can help u with :)
thats a really nice thing to say !! its such a beautiful place that it'd be hard to f#@k it up haha. Thanks heaps for watching and your nice comment, :)
I love watching this video over and over .Where is this place in NSW Chris ? Is it easy to get in? I’m heading to NSW this week and thinking to do this hike while I’m there :) thanks bud

Thanks mate, stoked you enjoyed it ! The book is at the far end of the plateau after you reach the top, when u get up head down the right hand side (western side I think ) all the way to end Good luck with it and I hope u have a good hike Thanks heaps for watching :)
So inspiring, thanks for sharing Chris, you have inspired me to go do this hike one day, but I first still need to learn more about the track. Can I ask what tent r u using. Sub to ur Channel. Liked the postie bike vid as well.
thanks Jim !! really stoked you've enjoyed the videos :) the track is pretty straightforward but there are a couple of confusing sections, pm me if I can help at all before you go. The tent I used in this is a vango blade 100, good little tent, light, easy to put up and not too pricey :) thanks for watching -- Chris :)
