I know a perfect way of splash painting: take a clothesline, put shirt or any paintable surface and put clothespins on the clothesline, holding the surface still and splatter paint outside onto the clothespinned surface
they are fun and festive, and he seems to understand that they are paintings not art...art is intentional ALWAYS. He creates accidental paintings. So glad he doesnt try to misrepresent them as REAL ART

Ah yes, the 'real art' debate. Well, I prefer to keep my labels loose and let others do as they wish. I like this style of painting as it's very liberating but i also have many others that convey different feelings upon creation. I am always glad to get your contributions guys, thank you!
Art is in the eye of the beholder….
I totally appreciate the artistic value in these. It is way harder to do than it looks. Bob Ross could bust out a work of art in 30 minutes also, and I guess Kim wouldn't call that real art either. Anyhow, this method takes a ton more thought and experience to not get bubbles, cracking, turn to a mud color, and many other challenges to overcome. That to me is where the real art lies. To me it's just as much considered art as a Rembrandt.
Was it not art when Pete Townsend would smash his guitar on stage?? Think bout that? Or the one that Jimi Hendrix set on fire at Monterey? Wouldn't that be a prize piece of art to hang on your wall?
