I am sorry to hear this. I have been dealing with the death of my mother and not painting like I want. So today I decided to watch my favorite artist and came across your last video. I think you'll find out that this is the best thing that happened to you. A man I once worked for started his business in his garage as a hobby. But a major competitor caught wind of it and told the authorities. He was forced to move to a commercial space, where he became a real threat to the competition. It will better for you obviously. Maybe you won't have to wear that crazy helmet with proper ventilation. 😁

Your news breaks my heart. I sincerely hope and pray you find a decent space for your business soon. I only wish I could afford to purchase some of your art. Being on a fixed retirement income precludes this. I will sorely miss your broardcasts. Same problems here in the USA, things are not doing well here. Hope you manage to sell all your beautiful paintings quickly and find a forever home and gallery for all your new works. Your government is out of its mind but we have to have one. your so right on it all. Seems like only Ross broke through, and then they really STOLE his work, specially when he died. You will survive. I think many times when they pick up some artist, they are choosing ones that do simple easy things, vs the higher end or harder work at times. And then many basically want to still steal other peoples hard work still today. at least it seems that way to me looking on outside of things. Do what you got to do, but keep on keeping on with this as well. I can not imagine the trouble of setting up again. wow... yes, can be overwhelming, but hang in there. Hopefully things will change soon for you cause many still will be keeping up with yall.

Can't you place polycarbonate channel plates under the roof? This allows you to meet the standard of insulation. The landlord can also contribute to lowering the rent, for example. Why not capture the move and start over on RUclips? That would certainly be interesting. Instead of making art, move and renovate. Wishing you lots of luck and power!!
Thanks Peter. Great ideas bud sadly the new regulations go a lot further than just insulating a roof. From windows to boilers and everything on between. It’s an absolute shit show over here. Yes, we’ll be recording the process for the channel so expect vids once we can get things moving (no pun intended!!)
Oh iv only just found you and loooovvvvvvvveeeeeee your art. Please find another place soon. Just remember that things happen for a reason no matter how bad it seems at the time. You will land on your feet and it will be bigger and better. Is there a large company around that can lease out a space for you and you promote their business as part of a deal. Oh This is realy awful situation. Same law in Germany and France. So what are they doing to us???
I have no idea but it's all about protecting our climate. I say that because the impact of this is way way less than the crap put out by burning fossil fuel. We are actually carbon neutral so have a net zero impact yet we are caught in this crap. Just more suppression for the masses so the rich can get richer.
Things are getting bad all over I guess. You guys will come out better - just do it! All the best to both of you!

I love your big paintings but cant afford buy them as I still have a few mouths to feed at home. May I ask which type of paint I can use to get similar effects? I do a pit of paint pouring with acrylic craft paints. Thanx
Unless you go all out for an enamel paint (solvent based) it can sometimes be tricky. However, a decent acrylic with some Liquitex flow compound (or similar) can have the same effect. Hope that helps and thanks for the kind words.

Sorry Ed and Ady I already replied but I think I did something wrong. I am in shock what a tragedy. You will be so sad to have leave your beautiful studio, I often couldn't see the live recordings, but the first thing I did on Thursday was watch your video, enjoying all your works of art for an hour for myself and be amazed every time what creative Ady and You came up with again and again. You both are my favorite artists. Much will have to be arranged by you, but I know ther will come a time when you will be seen again in a place that deserves your incredible art. Ed and Ady you are my Heroes and I will miss you but we will meet again. God Bless You , Good Luck Guys !!👋

game over or new beginnings? why not get your works into international art galleries whilst you have no workshop / gallery ? you could do regular livestreams with gallery curators all over the world explaining the philosophy behind your creations . you could also do residencies with other artists to enable you to continue the creative process
Hi Christopher. Than k you for the suggestions - unfortunately I have a total mistrust of the gallery network as it does not fit with my personal morality. That may sound contrite but I simply do not subscribe the way in which that system works. I have had too many poor experiences (and those of my artist friends).
Whilst I am in limbo i still have a website and can still function with paintings in storage so that part, to the uninitiated, remains constant. Residencies are out of the question for logistical and material reasons I'm afraid. I don't work well with other creatives unfortunately - i am a very solitary creature! I very much appreciate what you have suggested though and I am thankful for the time you have taken in thinking about my situation.
I feel so heartbroken for you guys. But happy for you for a new beginnings.
It's hard work I won't say it isn't but we keep moving forwards and we'll find a way through...

I just found your channel and have watched one other video before this one brilliant! But I’d like to ask why are you wearing the breather and what type of surface are you painting on? The surface doesn’t look like a canvas and you walk on it? Thanks for making your art available for us to enjoy.
Thanks Michele, I appreciate your kind words. Yes it’s canvas and yes I can walk on it. It’s very hard wearing (both canvas and paint). As I use enamels I have to wear breathing gear to protect my lungs from the toxic chemicals that are released on contact with oxygen.
