He is one of the famous musician, producer, and arranger in the world of Japanese music in the 80s. He works with many artist and released fusion-style albums of his own within the City Pop-era (those songs can be check on RUclips and Spotify). More then arranging, he played electric guitar (Toriyama's guitar cutting sounds and styles was quite signature on his own) in this song as well.
