As an artist (card making hobby which I produce handmade bespoke cards to sell online) stickers are a god send as you can get so many designs: anything from simple children's to more sophisticated treasures. I love all the designs. 😊. Xx

The only time that I've actually used a Japanese toy capsule machine was in a 'Game Stop' store, inside a mall, in my state(which was totally cool/awesome because it required a token instead of quarters)🥰👍

Ps. My boys are obsessed with stickers too and we have to ration them and every couple weeks we have to do the knee crawl and take all the sticker bits off the floors
Depending on the kind of floor you have you can either use a razor blade (on tile, tough laminate, or concrete) or a little bit of goof off or adhesive remover
@@awkwardotter13 yes we use a sharp pointy thing 🤣 I use my craft knives. It’s laminate and tiles so it works great.
If you used a hair dryer to gently warm the sticker bits will come off easier with out the danger of sharp pointy things
@@tracyhagan6222 thanks! They come off really easy by just lifting the edges with the point of the craft knife. Loud noises aren’t allowed in the house as both my boys have spd.
I love my Xyron sticker machine as well! 10/10 would recommend. I am sooooo hesitate to use stickers that I love though. Sometimes I run them thru the Xyron (or use double sided tape) to turn the back of the sticker paper sticky as well. Then I can remove the sticker from where ever I stick it to and its still intact.

I just need you to know that ever since I found your channel last year i always do the Figure It Out song and dance whenever I catch myself saying it. My husband is endlessly confused but amused by the antics.
It really is hard to believe that they manufacture these toys they have to be tested and even though they obviously don't work that still package up thousands of them and ship them out to be sold. I mean how many have we seen Jackie test that have worked well. Maybe 5% it's really sad.

gem stickers are cute though... and you can make more gem parts with resin by making molds with silicone! I'd use the machine as a nice container/display for craft materials or decorative stuff. (I kinda want to buy this machine for this purpose even if it doesn't work as intended 😆 )

Such a silly machine! U can just stick the gems onto the sticker by hand lol- if it was hackable or make shaker stickers that would be cool!!
Acknowledging you have a sticker problem is the first step. 😆 🤣 As someone with a Disney problem I find that ignoring steps is the best thing to do.
So, if I have shaped paper punches, some faceted plastic cabochons the same size, pictures I like and some completely transparent double sided tape...
Could I use them with this totally useless machine to make the activity harder so I have to think more?

This is pretty cute. I'd vote for getting a cricut, printer and sticker paper. Make whatever stickers you want forever. It won't have the cute gems, but there's probably refills somewhere and put stickers on by hand xD

Jackie, this would be a really cool challenge! Kit or craft. You could make your own resin gems and stickers, and then compare them to the kit. But it could also work for other things!
Peeling apart layers of paper and adhesive is done much easier if you use your sharp thing (exacto) to do so. I worked in POP & OEM screen printing for 20+ years so I learned a lot about working with those mediums.

I just bought myself the phomemo sticker maker and I have already gone through 2 rolls. It doesn't need ink cause it's thermal so it can only print in black and white. That being said it is SO FUN
The only downside to that is if it gets to hot, stays in the sun or over a long time they will fade.

I love that you really work to troubleshoot when things go wrong. I would have given up well before you did. I also need to get more stickers because I love them. By the way there are little laminated books you can get to display/store stickers and still are able to be used afterwards. Might help you with your collection to have them a tad more organized.

when you cut the shape out you need to cut right on the inside of the pencil lining not the outside otherwise you'll have a sticker that is a mm too big on all sides.
Hey Jackie! I'm so happy to have time finally to watch your videos again. The surgery I had in September has been killing me still but hey, I got this cool scar and metal in my femur lmao. The second one is soon (like most likely on the 24th) but It still makes me feel better to know I wasn't alone around the time of my first surgery to know one of my Favorite youtubers was also going through something that needed surgery.

The machine part is just a gimmick. Literally just put the gem on the sticker by hand and you will align it better. Seems they just had the machine as a reason to charge more.

I would just buy the refill kit without the machine. Then just pop out the jewels and stickers, center them, and affix them myself. No frustrating machine required.👍🙂

Wouldn't it be easier and fit better if you made the sticker double-sided sticky with the little machine, stuck the gem to it manually (so you could stick it just where you want because you can see through it), then cut out around the whole thing?
Seems to me like the only thing of any real value, and that is slight, is the gems.
You have to remember to cut on the inside of your traced lines, otherwise, you are giving the extra width of your pencil/pen graphite/ink line.

But yeah, I too can feel the saltiness, that first sticker reminded me of a pendant I got for Christmas, it looked very off like that plus the chain was broken...we sent for another one and that one was perfect.
What you could do when making your own, once you create your double sided sticker, place the gem directly on it where you want it then use an exacto knife to cut out the shape once it's already stuck together so there is no negative space and centered correctly. I know it defeats the purpose of the machine but at least you could get perfect stickers every time and you won't waste resources 🤷🏻♀️ just my thoughts 🧐🥰

Anybody remember the JuiceEro, the $3000 machine made to squeeze juice out of special bags of fruit, but you could also just do it with your hands? This is the JuiceEro of sticker machines. You get a better result just sticking the pieces together the normal way.
Every time I watch one of Jackies videos I just think "jesus we have a lot of the same interests craft wise and I would love to do crafta with her." It would be so much fun. I dont have a lot of crafty friends :(

The Korean toy brand you referenced also makes a ton of other cool stuff! They are called 미미월드 Mimiworld and they make all sorts of cute stuff from tamagochi to resin art to sticker makers and dolls, gacha, diaries, minis, etc.! I think you would like their stuff! In Korea, we use G마켓 (G Market) or 쿠팡 (Coupang) sort of like Amazon. They have all the stuff there if you look for it! :D
A binder with page protector sleeves would allow for two sided page turning display for your stickers.

Okay, now I NEED to know where you buy your stickers!!!! I also love collecting stickers, or well collecting things in general! I don't like the stickers I see at my local walmart or dollar tree (Amerigrain here!!!), so I don't buy them, in Amazon I don't find anything either. So I need to know!!!
A way i keep almost all my stickers sort of organized, i use those baseball card binder plastic holders yup pretty cool to have them there and i am sure by now there are many different sizes
