I wish I had watched this before I sent my order in last week.
Thanks for the info for future orders.
Save as R14 is a good suggestion. R12 did not work for me. Also I think you can change between inches and millimeters in a dialogue for the R14 save as. Happy Youtubing and Laser Cutting. Inkscape can really make great results with just a little practice!
Hi thanks for Info
Hey thanks for that
isnt R12 more widely used? when i save R12 it auto saves, when I save R14 I only have 1 layer, but many paths in that layer it said: "Inkscape has received additional data from the script executed. The script did not return an error, but this may indicate the results will not be as expected." Does that mean everything is ok??
Using inches whhhyyyy?!?!
"for simplicity" 🤢
I really need some help as I normally use Corel Draw, but have changed my business and now need to downscale my outgoings and have now discovered Inkscape. I will still have Corel Draw basic package, but this will not allow me to export as dxf. What file type should I save my design as so that I can then import them in to Inkscape to then follow this video? Thank you.
