    Nice video. As a fortunate individual, I own some of the best reloading equipment. But I also enjoy just watching the process and listening to the machines. A well tuned progressive reloading press sounds like music.

    Great video I love your progression and the round count vs press analogy I opted for the Mark 7 650 PRO because I could not justify the cost of the 1050 with Autodrive (Canada) but am totally happy and load over 30k per year. Like you said not for all but sure beats pullin the handle!

    You mention a few issues, is there a lot of stopping and starting, or is it pretty smooth. other than the primers slowing you down?

    What is your total cost for the setup?

    There is a point where your handloading becomes a ammo factory. Too many things could go wrong for my liking. Will stick with my RL550B thank you.

    This is awesome no doubt. But isnt reloadings purpose to save money? Defeats purpose if it takes 89 years to break even. Just my opinion

    Very nice set up. But is that reloading or manufacturing? 😁

      Reloading, I shoot USPSA and IDPA (competition) so between practice and matches I shot about 50K rounds last year.

    You feel safe with 200 primers in a tube?
    It would scare the shit out of me

    • @AdventuresinFabrication
      @AdventuresinFabrication  7 лет назад +2

      Yes I do, if you look at how the 1050 primer feed works, when pressing the primer into the case it is very far away from the tube (it is a lot safer than the 650). Before I got the swag sensor I had a couple go off because the old primer was still in case and it didn't set off a chain reaction. I strongly recommend getting the swag sensor.
      I think there is always risk in reloading, you are dealing with things that go bang. Therefore you need to judge your tolerance for risk. In general, automating the process does introduce more risk to the process. I have now reloaded 75K or so with this setup with no major issues however I am always careful.

    How is this setup working out in the long run? Would like to see a new video on the setup if you are still running it.

    Are you using carbide dies? If so are you lubing the cases? I am having problems with my auto drive popping and jumping using carbide dies no lube.
