Oh my gosh - this looks so fun and full of life! I wonder if at some point there might be a challenge for the 'senior' division - those of us over 40, 50?? :) Love your channel!

Of all the ballroom dances I’m learning as my new hobby, CW swing and 2-step are my favorite. I love your channel.

    Hi Anthony,
Your words at the beginning of this video are very inspriational. I grew up in Spring, went to A&M and live in Brisbane, Australia now. They call Brisbane a "Big country town" and there's actually tons of country fans out here, but nobody country swing/two steps which is weird to me. If you're truly wanting to "share your passion of country dance with the world", I would love to get in touch as there's a part of this side of the world that, if shown and encouraged, has the potential to really have a dance style take off exponentially here.

Hi Evan. Thanks for watching. We're glad it was inspirational. We have talked several times about visiting Australia. We almost did, but then covid happened. We'd still love to do that some day :-)

@@countrydancex There is a country music festival here called CMC rocks in Ipswich each year. Perhaps it's a good place to start.
Anyways if you have any tips on how to start a dance community here, I'd be all ears. I'd love to help bring my cultural dance style to Australia, especially considering the amount of country music fans here.

Wow,,,, people that can walk,,, amazing. Oh let's not forget the 5 dips for no reason. As a country dance teacher [28 yrs] I'm amazed at how rhythmic dancing is so rare. The best dancers are in the Houston area, and I'm from California.

country dancing has changed a lot since the 90s. That’s when I started too and probably learned the same way you did. Btw… we are in Houston

Can I get an AMEN? This is more bullshit show-off flash and trash, designed for people who would rather look like dancers than to put in the time to learn how to BE dancers. A mile wide and an eighth of an inch deep

There’s no emotion in these people just competition it’s not natural they look like robots, They are all doing the same thing there’s nothing real in it when everything becomes competition everybody just trying to outdo the other it’s lost its authenticity just about like country music in general things have really changed over the years !

I'm from New Mexico and that's NOT country dancing! Just my opinion, have some elegance in dancing two step or waltz, or jitter bug not picking, them up and... Well, sorry for my strait forward comment but that's funny, a joke to REAL country dancing. I know I'll get a lot of back lash but that's ok, either you know it or you don't. Much love!

That's like saying a pear isn't a fruit. There is a variety, but it's not what you usually go for. We do have teachers and studios that teach what you talked about.. At least in Fort Worth.
