- JAPAN IS BEAUTIFUL... AND WE HAVE ONLY SEEN A LITTLE!
This is our final day exploring Tokyo. Myself and Therine ride a taxi to Gotokuji Temple to visit the amazing lucky cats. Yes, there are a lot of lucky cat's here... and the temple grounds are absolutely stunning to walk around. After our first temple experience, we ride a local train and make our way back towards downtown Tokyo. Along the way we eat some local food, have fun trying to navigate in Japanese, and then find ourselves back with our friends headed for the airport.
Japan is beautiful, but it was time to head home for the Philippines.
I am now back in Manila.
But will be back to Japan hopefully soon!

Japan is a beautiful place. I spent all my high school year there. if you think it’s beautiful now imagine 30 years ago when it was so green with lots of trees.🌲 there is so many places to😊 explore and the people there are very polite and it’s very clean.

those trees look like that because they prune them occasionally so they don’t grow so big with alot of branches that they pose danger to pedestrians, i.e falling branches…they do it here in Singapore also…Philippine trees are naturally pruned by numerous storms and thus they grow strong rooted so there’s no need to prune them 😅

Konnichiwa, Kulas! Seeing the temple with all the maneki neko reminds me of Hawaii. With the large Japanese population in Hawaii many of the residents there have adopted the custom of putting maneki neko in their stores and keep them in their homes to bring good luck. Often times they will have several of them in the stores. You'd be surprised, Kulas, at all the different types there are. They all have the same basic shape, but, while most are white, some are black, others are gold with the different colors signifying different things. In fact, the meaning of the maneki neko is also different depending on which paw is raised, also. If I remember correctly, I think some of them even have different eyes (both open, one winking, etc.) They are really quite special! I don't remember all the variations and their meanings now, but you can look it up on the internet to find out. (I was looking for a maneki neko emoji, but, sadly, they don't have one.)🤙
And no tip Kulas giving tips to them is an insult hahahaha i love Japan you have to stay longer to enjoy japan more …. Stay safe…. When is the proposal coming everybody is waiting Kulas hahahahab

And they put a mashed potato on the side 🥔
And you went on the sun roof because they tell you that it is okay and you said koonishawa which is hello in Japanese.
Like in Hancock movie were he said koonishawa when he raced the car.
It reminded me on wedding date movie that you went on the sun roof where the ladies wave to anyone.
And they speak Japanese when you went on the Japanese restaurant in Manila.
So did he apply for japanese visa before going there or was he able to get back his canadian citizenship back?

Food is totally fine. Even less expensive than eating out in the Philippines at restaurants. Hotel... VERY PRICEY
